hehe, lucky you guys. You get to watch them screw up yet another draft class by winning games they should tank.

Maybe you do, but our backup goalie is better than Rask.

I think Ruff is a great coach, he makes all of our players play hard (except for Roy, who is now thankfully gone). He does need to chill on juggling lines a little bit, but how much of that was forced due to injuries last year? It might not have always been his choice to mess with the lines.

He deserves at least 2 more full years of coaching. You also have to look at what's available in other coaches. No way in hell Holmgren would be interested in coming to Buffalo IMO.

But he has a tendency to squash guys with 4th line minutes like Boyes. He'll do the same to Grigs and Armia.

Lol some teams are better at tanking than the Bills are . Seams there are a lot of things other teams do better than than the Bill do.

He does it CONSTANTLY, not just due to injuries. And even then, shuffling lines to fill for injuries is one thing. Switching lines constantly throughout the game itself is also his M O

When we do get a top 5 pick , they totally tank that . Like that offensive lineman From Texas . What a waste he was.

Boyes didn't have a game to speak of when in Buffalo. If you're saying that he's not gonna give young guys a shot at top lines, look at Luke Adam early last season. If you're saying that he tries to squash high talent players, look at Vanek who's been in a top position for years. Lindy Ruff is, at the very least, a fair coach.

I'd like to see what Regier and Ruff can do with an owner with deep pockets. If they blow it with all the assets on the table after 2 years, I'm more than ready to cut them loose. I doubt either of them wanted most of the players who walked out the door for better contracts to leave. They just worked for an owner who was running the team as a business. He wasn't interested in paying for a contender. Ruff also has some legit young talent in the pipeline with Coho, Grigo, Gergs and Armia....the supporting "veterans" are all ready here....Vanek, Pommenville, Miller, Ott. I think next years season could be promising. by 2014-15, the sabres should be really good. Interesting thing is that Vanek, Pommenville, Ott and Miller are all UFA's that season. If the kids have a solid year in the NHL and all of those guys are playing for their next contract, we might see some really impressive hockey. Seems almost......planned.
