I really think Schnieder could be a disaster. Lu will thrive in TO. He's exactly what we need IMO.. As long as he comes for the right price, not Kadri or Percy. Gardiner and Rielly are untouchable, obviously... I'm willing to let Frattin or Bozak go for him tho.

I really think Schnieder could be a disaster. Lu will thrive in TO. He's exactly what we need IMO.. As long as he comes for the right price, not Kadri or Percy. Gardiner and Rielly are untouchable, obviously... I'm willing to let Frattin or Bozak go for him tho.

Lu is a stop gap, exactly what the leafs have been custom to for years, this is why we are in the position we are in.

is Lu a good goalie, yes, is he passed his prime, most likely.

so what we just give up on reimer/scrivens and have LU take the helm? no thanks!

You cant win without solid goaltending in Toronto. I would much rather watch Luongo than Reimer/Scrivens. Lu would be the same as Cujo or Belfour. I doubt he is past his prime, he just needs a new start. I don't buy this whole losing attitude. I am a hockey fan, i want to watch hockey, and i want my team to be good. But im not waiting anymore. We have some good prospects. Bring in Getzlaf, keep Kadri, Rielly and Gardiner and we have very good team. Its such a waste to keep going with lousy goaltending. If we want our prospects to turn out good then we need to win to build their confidence and losing close games due to poopty a goalie is not helping.
