The San Antonio thing was stupid. I could understand fining them if they sit their guys and get destroyed, but they lost by 5 (frank)ing points. Seriously, their coach thought that was what was best for them, and if they made two more shots they win that game with the players they used. not that i dont agree. it's a slippery slope when u start doing that.

but i bet those tickets were extra expensive. pretty sure that's how it works for a teams big rivals or elite teams. same in nhl i think. tickets to pittsburgh are certainly more expensive than cbj i assume. if u paid the extra bucks stoked to see ginobli and got 3rd string jones instead, i bet ud be pissed.

Someday he's going to be old, watching his induction into the HOF, noticing they're not mentioning his point totals, because he's really just middle of the road for total career points.

If I were him I'd be the angriest man on the planet right now, and would happily forgo a small portion of my salary just to hit the ice. I just don't get it.

yeah, but i think many of todays generation arent gonna have the huge point totals.
110 wins the art ross now. thats 2/3rds of what they used to get.

being 20th on the all time point list isnt gonna be as important as will his hart trophies, stanley cups, olympic etc etc.

not to say its not frustrating for him, i just think actual totals are gonna be pretty irrelevant. it has to be judged on the time period one played. would guy lafleur be even close to the player he was if he played today?? no chance.

really? i dont see this at all. in fact ive always thought clouts' threads were by far the most "free for all"... for lack of a better term. i think it has alot to do with clouts' inflammatory blogs. the refs dont really know what to do with it.

not to mention that im not even sure some of the regular oiler posters even like hockey. it's just pics of naked/beastor chicks, gay/racist jokes, and all around hate...in other words, awesome.

i know for sure we dont have a ref that comments here on a regular basis.

if u think this blog is bad, a few words of advice; stay away from esplens or the montreal guys blogs.

Lots of posters throw offhanded remarks insulting clouts, and don't get banned or even edited. This guy was a walking hate crime, ban well deserved.

Oilers are ahead of the Leafs because they have a franchise player, franchise players even, like lots of them, they have so many franchise players they are literally littering leagues around the world right now with their abundance of these amazingly talented young franchise players. Oiler fans even have debates about which franchise player is going to be the most franchise of the franchise players.
