I have to say that I am die hard fan who spends about $2k per year on tickets and I have completely lost interest in this lockout.

I vow that I will never buy tickets in this city again. I'll go to games if I score free tickets but I will not spend anther $ on tickets nor will i buy any concessions once there.

Problem is that it means nothing because if I don't t buy then there is a lineup of people behind me who will.

Don't buy any merchandise. That's my personal stance. I know I can't put any dent in the ticket sales here in Edmonton - but I can cost them a few grand in Oiler labeled gear over the years. I'll always watch and enjoy hockey - but I don't have to contribute any money to either of these spoiled sides to do it.

Unless these sources are named, all that is happening is that you create your own narrative to follow without any boundries to what is truth and what is fabrication.

It's one thing to do it in trade talk.... don't matter to me.... but another to do it in the realm of "fan talk".

In before Eklund says today was progress.

I have tried to be understanding though 100% frustrated.
Im done, cancel the season or dont cancel the season.
I no longer care and have other things I can focus on in life.

My initial reaction? WHO [frank]ing cares what this guy feels. I could care less about his "heart break". This hurts for all of us in case you haven't noticed. And how [frank]ing condescending is it to end with "And if the NHL can lose me....", as is he is the best fan in the world... and even he, in his exalted state is disenchanted. Spare me, and go [frank] yourself. Ek - this was nothing but contrived drivel. You should be able to do better.

Agreed, but Ek encourages it by stating that this guy "Gets it". Whatever that means.
