You'll be back.

Don't kid yourself.

No......I seriously won't. Maybe I am in a different situation because I go to a good 15 games a year of which most are free tickets anyway but I won't drop another dime on tickets or concessions.

Thats a guarantee.

You won't buy a single beer at a Habs game?

Sure thing, Pinocchio.

This sentiment is getting old.

Remember the last lockout? People were saying they were done with the NHL too. That lockout erased an entire season. Everyone was "done" with the NHL. We were worried that the NHL wouldn't be able to rebound.

What happened?

Well, the NHL came back and was stronger than ever after a short time. Quit saying you're "done" with the NHL. We all know you'll be back, just like you came back after the last lockout and just like you'll come back after the next lockout. People's self-righteous "I'm done with hockey, the owners and players are too greedy" rant is getting old. We're all suffering, we're all mad at the owners and players but we'll all be back cheering as soon as they announce that they reach a deal.

THis is rage inducing . I know it sucks for people who depend on the nhl to make their money, but the NHL doesnt owe these people anything. IN fact, they should than hockey for existing and giving them a better living. People bi tch when the NHL goes on strike, but where are they when they are playing. NEver heard a waitress say "thank god for the nhl, i made huge tips tonight".

All i m saying is that its nice you usually have a good job because of the NHL but the NHL owes you nothing. Its not their responsibility to make sure that waitresses and ushers and other ancillary positions are taken care of.

Personally my job has nothing to do with the NHL but I wonder if there were stats as to how many people have been laid off as a result.

I hear where you are coming from in that praise isn't given so pity shouldn't be either but let's be honest here, the business owners suffer somewhat but it's the employees who'll suffer the most.

Brutal letter.

Who the heck cares if this person has had such great opportunities. Having those opportunities and experiences doesn't make him any more of a fan than me or any other regular joe.

I find it pathetic that these "fans" say they are done with the NHL now. Good for them.....whining babies. They don't get their way and they give up. Too bad.

I, like other true fans, am pissed off, annoyed etc. that the NHL and PA can't get their poop together. But that will never make me not love the game. Geez, it's the greatest game on earth. How does a fan just say "that's it, I'm done"? To all of them I say "Seeya, and enjoy the hoops"!

Thats a no brainer. Don't buy it as it is. I can honestly say I have personally never had a beer at the Bell Centre.

I cannot stand the taste of Canadian beer.

Dude I travel quite a bit and have developed a liking for European beers. I just cannot stand Canadian Beers at all. I prefer Belgium, German beers or perhaps my favorite, Guinness so much more.

So I see on Twitter that some people are pissed because the Bruins owner wouldn't cover the taxes for employees for Stanley Cup rings.

My question is this: why the frank should anyone other than the players and coaches get a ring anyway?

Be that as it may, but anyone who has an account here at hockeybuzz is obviously a pretty hard core hockey fan. You'll be back. I can agree that you and others won't invest as much money into the game, but you'll back back as a fan of hockey.

I'm with you.

Generally drink wine or European beers.
Have a good collection of rum as well.

Guess it is because I work in the wine industry?

I don't know why people buy official NHL gear anyway.

I bought 3 Habs jerseys last year from China. They all look great. Spent $40 for the 3 of them including shipping. You can only notice the diffence when you really look close at it anyway. Other than that, it's used to blend in at the games and washes well when I spill my $13 beer on it....

Definitely will be back as a fan, will still go to games when I am given tickets but just won't spend another dime on tickets myself. Was spending too much anyway.
Luckily I have 2 clients who have season tickets in section 101 so will go anyway.

Meh...they both are representing other people, they're doing their job. One is representing billionares, smart business men, the other is representing cavemen who play hockey.
