Glad to hear G is OK, and nice to see Wellwood back in the line up, even as the 12th forward.

Better than being the 13th forward. Hopefully he's found his assertiveness, I want to see him back on the big club at some point

He has to keep using his wheels, it is his best asset.

Murray is great for these young guys, keeps them accountable.

Seravalli wrote a good article on Wellwood today.

They must be going insane that they can't run On the Fly 12 hours a day. That channel is an abortion.

At least they dont show the commercial for the DVD of the Rags 94 Cup win. Messier looks like a monkey shaking a banana bunch when he hoists the Cup.

For me I like CHL games so at the moment I am enjoying the ones I get to see & it's the only time currently I turn on the NHL Network.

Hugh Jessimen in the loaded 2003 draft for the NYRs really stands out.
Can you imagine the Rangers now if they had taken a Getzlaf, Perry, Parise, Kesler, Seabrooke, Dustin Brown or several others taken after Jessiman? Yikes.

Agreed. Their decision to show live hockey is about the best thing they have done since their inception. Their programming during the NHL season leaves a lot to be desired.

Yup even then I didn't tune in as much unless they had a live game or something worth watching

Amazing. At this point I don't even care. What is the drop dead date their has to be an agreement to salvage a shortened season?

I'm guessing if they have nothing in place by Christmas, the entire season will be lost.

It doesn't even matter both sides have angered enough fans, advertisers, & those in the TV world they may never be able to get back to what they had prior to this lockout.

I wonder if NBC had an out clause put in the latest TV deal (not that they'd use it)

It's my understanding that if the Season is cancelled. NBC basically get's a "free year" on the back end of the deal!

That would be correct, I am curious to see if they put any other clauses in the deal aside from that one. Because now they'll be paying for a product if some stay true won't watch it & they'll likely struggle for at least some time getting people to advertise during games they are broadcasting.

I think there is going to be some fallout from sponsors and such. Molson has already stated that they will be going after the NHL for restitution for the lockout. And resulting loss of Revenue for Molson due to the loss of NHL games. And if there is long term fallout from this, that is certainly going to make the NHL less attractive to Advertisers and sponsors. These Owner's are nuts!

Bettman proposed to Fehr and PA an owner-payer mtng only. No NHL or NHLPA brass. Fehr and PA are believed to be considering.

Darren Dreger ‏@DarrenDreger

Not all owners would be included in this owner-player meeting. Hasn't been determined. Not sure why either side wouldn't welcome this.

Did you see this from yesterday ? (It's been shockingly disputed) But it's interesting to even see Boston media saying this not just other media markets.

According the NHL the last CBA was a bad deal which they said they wanted when they finally got the NHLPA to agree to it so it's interesting to see this article say "NHL owners won the last lockout."
