What is going to happen to Garth if Grigorenko turns out to be the next Alexandre Daigle or Christian Dube? - Ben37
No chance. He's going to become a Gretzky/Lemieux/Superman/Optmis Prime hybrid and rip the NHL a new one. |

Keep gloating about Grigorenko. I hate to disappoint all you Grigorenko fans, he will not be a superstar in the NHL. He is soft. Alex Galchenyuk will be a better player than Grigorenko - neil2005
C'mon. If the Habs drafted Grigo and thd Sabres drafted Galchenyuk you'd be touting Grigo. Leave it to a Habs fan (or a Leafs fan for that matter) to boast about one of their own.
Don't be a homer. You've been around here long enough. You're better than that. |

nah, if the Habs drafted Grigo instead of Gally there would be rioting in the streets and Bergevin would be fired...so Gally >>>> Grigo |

Sherbrooke has a -63 goal differential in 25 games. I don't even know how that's possible. They're losing by more than 2.5 goals per game.
The Q, man. - Travis Yost
It's an expansion team, their team was made with rejected players from the other teams and even with the right to ice 5 20 year olds they are struggling pretty hard. Their best players are 16 and 17 right now though. The team lacks serious talent but most of all maturity, I think they had 12 rookies to start the year.
I've been to almost every home game, and let met tell you it hasn't been pretty, at least the fans are behind their team and cheer for every goal scored.
Team will have to be winning in the near future though, as Sherbrooke is a bandawagon sports city, if they aren't a winning team in the first three years, I'm pretty sure we're going to see the team leave for a third time. |

Isn't Dan Audette supposed to be the next big thing in the Q? How's he been doing? I assume not well considering how bad the Phoenix are. - GOODPLAYA20
Quite the disappointment for me, but he doesn't have much to play with. Noone thinks the game as fast as he does on the team, and they have noone to clear some space for him besides Turnbull (who's been promised to Québec in December), team is filled with 5'9 guys. He's been acting like a star player and took quite a few bad penalties.
I think his play at the U-17 will really show what he's worth. |

He better be better for Montreal's sake . He was a much higher pick than Grigorenko . The real rioting will start if Grigorenko some how how turns out to be better and the Montreal Fans realize they could have had him . Wow , how can you label any prospect for any team a failure till they have at least 3 or 4 years in the NHL to confirm . Some players take longer to develop.
All Garth's annoying cheerleading aside . He is our prospect . And what else is there to report on till there are actual games . Are Buffalo fans swarming the Montreal Boards, Bashing the Montreal prospects ? |

I've been a huge Grigorenko fan last year, but there's no question that Galchenyuk was ahead in more than a few aspects of the game. Nonetheless, Grigorenko could be labeled as a steal at 12th overall, with guys like Pouliot, Reinhart and Koekkoek picked before him. |

I've never seen a 12th overall pick get so much attention from other teams' fans.

I wonder why, hmmmm...
Edit: Nice location. Wow, not sure what Esplen was thinking. I was glad to see Gragnani leave as a free agent. |

If the Q is so bad, and Grigorenko is all these bad things you people claim him to be why even come here and talk about him, hes not on your team, if we want to be excited about him we're allowed to do so, so why come here and just drown out the comments with all your negative poop, when it has nothing to do with any of your teams.
Take a hike, go talk about your prospects the only thing more mind numbing than garth posting about it as often as he does is you clowns coming in here and bashing the kid every day cause hes russian, plays in the Q, older than he says he is, the list goes on. It has no effect on you what so ever and you people get off on coming in here and trying to poop on our parade, is there nothing better for you to be doing? Forgive us for being excited about a prospect |

He's being outscored by 17 year olds in by far the 3rd best (worst) junior league in Canada. |

The fact that Tanguay is on this list eliminates any point you're trying to make. |
