It is just skills development so they only have brief games.

He betrays no interest whatsoever in actually playing the games. He like skating around and stuff and he is improving. It is just like soccer though, he refuses to engage in the play. He is by far the smallest kid (he wears size 3-4 at age 6), so I think he might be unconfident. I would say initimidated, but he actually will go after whoever gets in his way, and tackled the biggest kid on the ice last week after he kid pushed him LOL.

So, how does everyone (Except for FakePartofMe because he'll just complain either way) feel about Boomhauer being hired as manager of the Jays?

I remember some horrible moves, bad timing with the bullpen.

But that's how baseball was at the time and kind of still is.
They had nobody else to put out there, which is why they got him in the first place.

But man, Ryan was as reliable as possible the first year...then when he came back from injury they made the mistake (which I'm guessing came from above) of trying him over and over again even though his confidence and ability was gone.

My daughter was 100% like that in soccer. For two years, she ran around and watched.

We pulled her out last year and put her in baseball, under the theory that she is forced to engage in the play when either she is at bat, or when a ball is hit to her.

It actually worked out well.
