I would say the same thing if a Leaf or Jet said it BTW.

What I really didn't like was the whole "he should just stay over there" thing.
The guys been playing in North America for 19 years. So because he's not Canadian he shouldn't be able to have a say?

And what did he say that was so wrong? That the players should vote?

I think Cole himself would be surprised with the results of a PA vote on the actual NHL offer.

no I agree with you although it does give the appearance that you're just an immigrant standing up for another. but yeah I don't like it. Stuff like that is the worst part of unions it always becomes an us against them thing even internally.

I wonder if they've held a couple of votes internally to see what's going on...

Apparently, 10% of the players/people who were there yesterday didn't wanted the NHLPA to present that offer to the NHL yet, saying it was too generous and that the NHL would just brush it off, and that they would lose more ground in the end. Turns out that 10% was right.

edit: fyi guys something awesome happened. I wanted to know where he got this pic from so I googled "gomez flash" and while I didn't find the pic itself there were a couple of upskirt pics of Selena.

- dt99999

All I found is a flash game where you have to dress up Selena.

I read a article just before this all began, Mike Modano had a message for the players, "prepare to be disappointed".

He was part of the negotiations at the last lock out. I guess he was right.

It's unfortunate, because I used to hate him with a passion, and after last season, it really changed...I'm starting to hate him again.

You would think that someone that has already lost a season would be smarter.

It's like that in every union. They'll whine until a deal is made, and then whine and blame the executive if they're not happy or take pride if the deal is favorable.

Cole should sit the rest of the year while Hamrlik play hockey in the NHL. Gorges had a private conversation with Hamrlik and Gorges told Cole about it. What kind of Rep is he?
