Not to mention, prospects are assets, which can be used as trade bait. I think the original post about all the isles prospects, was that Garth is eventually going to have to deal someone. - kindlyrick
I hear this every season where Garth "has to trade" which is followed by what we all know. He doesn't have to trade and probably won't. Brooklyn and the amount of prospects will not make him a gm who trades. Not trying to be a douche but snow is what he is. |

Eventually he will, But I don't see that time as any time soon. None of the prospects are pushing anyone out of a job. When we have a real log jam and need to stat moving people, we will.
We have the prospects that we have because we haven't traded them, stay the course... its starting to reap benefits!

Its ok to disagree.....i dont think you're being a d!ck. I just think after years and years of drafting the organization is going to have too many prospects. At some point rather than waste the asset, the smart move is to get something in return.
For ex. If the isles have 7 dman on the roster, 6 in bridgeport, and 12 prospects playing wherever........but they dont have as strong a pool on say LW. It makes sense to me, to move a prospect or two for a LWer. |

I hear you but expecting snow to do something that makes sense is in itself an unorthodox thought |

If you have a team full of kids with potential you want to get the most out of them. Look at what Stamkos has learned from St. Louis in Tampa Bay. Look at what Giroux has learned from Briere in Philly.
If you can trade some prospects for an aging star it will help you get the most out of the kids who stay. |

totally agree, but do think that with the announcement of moving to Brooklyn, and the uncertainty of the teams future is now resolved, do believe that the pressure is on Snow to make the Isles a better team going into Brooklyn |

Hopefully this will be an opening for Mangano to let the Isles out of the lease before 2015. |
