Yeah, they call this "having these things taken away from them".

They never should have been getting it in the first place.

Count your blessings boys, you've been collecting too much off the gravy train for a few years now, hope you enjoyed it, but it's over.

The players getting 57% is over, as it should be. And the players have agreed in principle to it.

No, I'm not assuming that at all. It's well documented that the League wanted a Salary Cap linked to revenue, and a salary rollback for the players in the last CBA.

You said the percentage was what they wanted. Since I bolder that part, I thought you might be able to figure that out. But, of course, you didn't.

What I said is in plain black and white. Reread what you bolded. I said the percentage is a result of what the Owners wanted. The players percentage got to 57% due to the percentage being linked to HRR. Which is what the owners wanted. I thought you'd be able to figure out what that meant. But of course, it looks like you didn't.

So, the owners did or did not get the percentage they wanted?

Your right it has to come from somewhere to help out the struggling teams. And both sides should come to an agreement to both share in fixing those issues, and helping out those teams. And if you think that the players should be the only side to have to pay for that, when the League took in record revenues, and with the checks that the Owners you reference are agreeing to write. Well then Bettman really has you mesmerized.

and the players got 57% of it....
which is about to change.
that 7% immediately is they key!!

done deal

but no. by helping the league become more solvent on the whole, they somehow feel this a huge concession, so fehr actually had the nuts to ask for immediate increases instead!!
get down to 50 by the time the revenue is much bigger and they dont actually take a hit. and not actually helping to get to the solution the owners want right now.

this will eventually cost them there entire season paychecks, and the offer will be much worse next year..

I can't answer that. I only know what was documented that the Owners wanted.

I don't believe it is going to cost them their entire Season of paychecks. And there is a reason why Fehr submitted a counter proposal that saw an increase. it's called a negotiation for a reason.
