meh, I have no time for them, I work on a computer most of the day, the last thing I want to do is play a game on one or on a gaming console when I finish for the day.

I play games on my blackberry or Ipod Touch, as I quietly pray for my daughters to fall asleep.

lol, between the swimming lessons, dance, skating and other activities the pvr has become my go to gadget, I have an iPod, iPad and a cracked screen galaxy tablet courtesy of the little one that was replaced with the iPad, but only have one game on it, a freebie called Siege Hero, lots of books though.

Admittedly I've lost touch with the gaming world. Is RBI Baseball for NES still the big ticket?

Seriously though .....there are some studies out there about gaming being good in moderation and in particular for kids with ADHD.

the owners can lose.

by signing a cba similar to the last one they continue losing money

if i was an owner i would simply say (frank) that.

right now the owners need star players to draw a crowd..

they cant do that unless they sign deals that but them into the red.

so dont sign those deals?

then the fans stop coming because their teams arent competitive

so they sign those deals.. and lose money that way

right now the owners have a choice of signing deals that lose them money, or give up having players with drawing power and then their attendance goes down.. and they lose money

Video games = waste of money and time. Go out and play sports, join a league, exercise your mind and body not just your thumbs.

In the words of my favourite song writer and guitarist, I will leave you with this

The Good Book says it's better to give than to receive
I do my best to do my part
Nothin' in my pockets I got nothin' up my sleeve
I keep my magic in my heart

Fight the good fight every moment
Every minute every day
Fight the good fight every moment
It's your only way

We use to use empty Christmas wrapping paper rolls twisted into sticks and bunched up piece of newspaper shaped into a ball, you had it good.

we used pencils as sticks and a rebound ballbearing as a puck and hockey cards as goalies on a tile floor on our knees....good times though and time consuming with lots of imagination and hockey passion

And we'd spend hours drawing pictures of Mike Palmateer and Ken Dryden

We only did that as to not break anything and still be able to play hockey in the house. I can still remember coming into the house after playing hockey in the driveway during winter for hours, feet frozen and the pain that followed, lol.

Sounds like that Monty Python sketch. When we were young we didn't even have a house. You count yourself lucky, we lived on the tip.

I remember when new neighbours moved in and my new buddy had goalie pads and a wide open basement floor...we'd play Showdown for hours inside and outside on the road....my first experience playing goalie and I used my Dad's baseball mitt as a catcher....good thing buddy wasnt playing hockey anymore cuz we wrecked those pads
