Again, a performance in one tournament does not equate to HHOF career.
It's the most famous goal in CANADA...and no one is taking away from the significance of the goal or tournament.
No matter what occured in the tournament, it still doesn't make his career HHOF worthy.
Had he not scored that one goal, this wouldn't even be a discussion.

I think he is a great guy, I have all the DVD's and VHS collections on the summit series, the behind the scenes documentary is amazing. His goal was a great goal, he had a great performacne during that tournament which also had some political overtones, he had a decent career on the NHL, but I just dont think he should get in based on that one tournament, you know?
But who knows.
