I'll be honest guys. It was just luck. I saw it on 299 and just had to. It's not really something i can explain, it was just a feeling. I don't really no where to go from here. The sky's the limit i suppose. Maybe, one day, after the Leafs win the Cup, maybe i'll get the 1000th. If not, i will always have this.

You've got it completely backwards.

Henderson didn't have a career that warranted a HHOF induction. He had an amazing tournament and there's a nice section for it at the HHOF. The moment is inducted but the player isn't and that's exactly as it should be.

As for the rest of the list, Pat Burns? Name me another coach who has won coach of the year with three different teams? Good luck.

Dave Andreychuk? Phil Housley? Tom Barrasso? These guys might have to wait a few years but eventually, they'll get in and they'll deserve it.

Guys like Joseph and Lindros are somewhat in the same category. They're going to have to wait but they'll have their time.

Chabot might be out of luck though. It's been a really long time since he retired, so long that there are fewer and fewer people who even know who he is. He might never get in.
