While I am by no means saying Kadri>>Gagner, the difference between the two is that the Oilers have truly tanked, unlike the Leafs, thus in doing so have allowed Gagner the freedom to learn and grow. In Toronto, Kadri has been Richarded, (frank)ed and yanked around with intense pressure and restrictions. Kadri, IMO, could be as good or better than Gagner if given the same opportunity.

While Edmonton is playing their youth, letting them grow without pressure and tanking properly, Toronto is bringing in the Armstrongs, Connollys and Lombardis while prospects like Kadri are being slammed by coaches in the media about his defense instead of being allowed to just play, learn and grow.
