What happens to Davis? - Tee-Dot
He's still there. He'll be the platoon guy in the outfield. Off the bench and stuff like that. He's the guy I like watching the most on that team. Me and Jr love him. Black Lightning, even Jr calls him that. He asked for his autograph for christmas. |

Meanwhile, the Jays declined the $3 million club option on Rajai Davis, but then signed the speedy outfielder to a one-year deal worth $2.5 million.

The speed this team will have is gonna make it so much fun to watch. Homers and big smash hits are fine...but nothing is more exciting that watching those speedy guys steal bases.

True enough. You can never have too much depth... quality depth at that.
My wish list to plug the rest of the holes...
5th starter: Might as well shell out a few mill to get an established guy. Not worth coming this far and risking it hoping a kid like Drabek can get it done
2nd base: Izturis may be a good utility guy but not an everyday man IMO. Scutaro still available?
Closer: One okay year for Santos just doesn't cut it.
DH: Lind was worth as much as Jason Blake last year. He is done. I'm sure there a a few sluggers that are still available out there. |

Imagine if Selig puts the kibosh on this deal? Those pitchers must be rather happy to be coming to Toronto if you think about it. Jays can put up the runs. Miami was almost last when it came to runs. |

First, they are American teams and they were not as lopsided as this one. |
