NOPE!

Unless Luck gets hurt, he's pretty much lock. We have to assume that he's only going to get better as he gets more comfortable as well.

does that logic not apply for RG3 or T-rich or Doug martin?

Spending 17 hours a day 'talking' and coming out of the room with nothing solved is asinine.
For the first time EVER I'm with Doug Maclean....stay locked in that goddam room and don't come out until a deal is done.

Martin

He's a solid running back for sure, but he scored 32% of his total yards and 57% of his TDs in last weeks game. I wouldn't jump on the bandwagon just yet. The Colts were the worst team in the league last year, the only thing that has changed is they got Andrew Luck. Every single analyst in the country pegged Indy to be last. Luck does more with less = Rookie of the Year

- trolleytracks

There is too many good rookies too annoit Luck the ROY. If the Colts make the playoffs then probably. However with Russell Wilson out in Seattle he will be the running all year and I wouldn't count out RG3 either.

After all you can't blame RG3 for having a sucky team around him.

The Chefs? Who are the Chefs? (haha, on of my favourite all-time ads)

The TNF lineup has been quite lame this year...oh well, sure fills the gap between Thursday and the weekend. Especially if you lay a little money on it.

The Optimism Meter is OFFICIALLY getting offers for sponsorship…we have hired Brisson to negotiate. He is a good solid man.

Yeah, but next week its the Dolphins visiting the Bills.

It's a key matchup in figuring out who finishes 6-10 and who finishes 5-11 in the AFC East.

They are actually starting to negotiate now. This is the first time that both sides have actually been motivated to get a deal done -- maybe pressure from players and from owners/sponsors. To expect it to happen soon is just not realistic.

They are talking about two of the key issues right now -- make whole and revenue sharing. It seems as if the owners have agreed to pick up the tab on honouring contracts but its not at all clear how many years this will be stretched over and the PA will need to be assured that the money is really coming from the owners and not skimmed out of money that might have gone to players somehow.

The PA will also push hard on revenue sharing. They see this as the best way to make sure that the owners don't come back at the end of the next CBA looking for more rollbacks to support the bottom feeders.

There's no way that a deal gets done real soon. Best case scenario is that things don't blow up over this and that they can move on to the rest of the CBA.

But you're from Toronto? Aren't the Bills your team???

Seriously though that Dolphins-Bills game might not be too bad actually. Both offences are pretty decent. Watching the Jags is just painful.

More to come...

So many hockey people in the media have been saying all summer that it would heat up and get done by US Thanksgiving! This has all gone exactly to script. Bettman and Fehr have been puffing out their chests and egos to see if the other side would break. and as long as it stayed within the hockey ranks, they will push it as close as they can to cancelling the season.

then this comes up:

http://www.ottawacitizen....+Coors/7515483/story.html

The deal will be done this weekend or next week, Hockey will begin either Black Friday or December 1st. If not, they will lose the season, NBC will be looking for money back, sponsor's like Molson will definitely want money back, and they will lose many MANY fans. The deal will be done, or they're all much more stupid than I thought. Way to piss 3.3Billion away; and that's directed at the players as much as the owners!

The lockout has been going on for how long now? To expect a new CBA to be agreed on in a few days is unrealistic.
