I wonder why? maybe because the leafs ruined his confidence and ron wilson hanging him out to dry every other game before when he ACTUALLY tried. He gave up at that point and i dont blame him. They RUINED his confidence, they seriously (frank)ed his confidence big time. Plays his heart out, the team hangs him out to dry and just falls apart in games? I wouldnt care much either if i played. If a team cant even hang in, in the first period, why should he care for the rest of the game by then which he finally learned how our system is runned or how the players play in front of him. I felt sorry for gus, hope he has a better career in detroit where he is NOT mistreated and has a better team in front of him. In toronto he was mistreated no doubt.

The dumbest thing was interupting a very good string of performances by the Monster, he seemed to be getting in the swing... and bring back Reimer too early from the concussion. While I certainly blame Wilson for part of this... that re-introduction of Reimer too early was a clear sign to me that Wilson was on his way out... and that the decision was either being made by Burke/Nonis or Allaire. Either way RonnyW got his nice payout courtesy of friend Burke... but the problem was the screwed up the team at a time when they were actually doing okay.

Exactly thank you, as much as it was ron wilsons fault, it is also a team effort as well. And the blame should not always be on the goalie, it takes a "team" to win. Yes the goalies sometimes let in weak goals but technically when does he make those? When they are already down 3-0? after that why should he care if the team is not trying right? Or he tries is hardest, leafs are winning 3-1, the team comes back because they think they have the game, ties 3-3 goes to OT, they score on the monster. They lose. He got so mad before he like smashed his stick haha every game. Its a team effort, and a coaching effort.

Bring in reimer back when gus was on a hot streak was the stupidest thing ron wilson did, he makes reimer play, reimer loses like everygame. Decides to put gus back in, gus loses as well. Ruining his confidence folks, nice one.

If it wasn't something so stupid as running a stop sign while she was gabbing to her 2 friends in the car..Careless driving, it was very low speed, but My insirance goes up and I am out a perfectly running car..I am pissed at my kid..
