Look up Myles Bell on google. Should tell you everything you're missing.

This kind of stuff is sad. I know it’s stupid, and he killed someone, but he’s still just a kid. He should have to do something, to make some sort of amends, but he really should get a second chance. If you’re still doing stupid crap like this at 30, or even 25, it’s a different story, but at 16, he’s still just a stupid kid. Everyone does stupid things at that age, unfortunately, his stupid things turned out tragic (granted, it’s a little more stupid than most things).

If I were a GM, I'd be able to look past it, if he seemed like he had grown up.

Great way to cover the "he's just a kid who did something dumb" base in case the Leafs sign him, ahead of time.

I'd love to see what this looks like if and when the Oilers or the Habs sign him.

Sure. If you want to read it like that, go ahead.

I don't really think Heatley is an azzhole, I think bertuzzi was an unfortunate incident gone wrong, and feel phenomenally bad for a kid like Casey Cizikas, who I truly feel is a good kid tied up in an unfortunate incident. But go ahead and make moronic comments like that. I'm just defending a 16, yep, 6 (frank)ing teen, year old kid.

Maybe when you reach adulthood, you'll be able to look back on how truly stupid you can be at an age like yours, and have no clue. But until then, you're just a know it all kid. And you should shut your (frank)ing mouth once in a while. This is definitely one of times.

He's not 16 years old. Nor was he 16 when he killed a girl. So I guess this goes in the "Hal Gill was a 7th defender for Pittsburgh" pile.

He was 17 when it happened.... not that it makes much difference. But a girl died while he was behind the wheel...... if he was drunk (Any alcohol at all) he deserves to get punished a lot more than he was. 2 year probation? It looks like he didn't miss any time, he should be in jail (If alcohol was indeed involved).

17. Same thing. You're still a retard kid.

Age doesn't make a difference in drinking and driving. If you are drinking and driving you should be punished(2years probation is a joke).

"Stupid teenager" is a moronic excuse.

He has that killer instinct you need in the NHL.

So if a six year old has a few drinks and gets behind the wheel, you think it should be a life sentence?

A six year old? Are for real? If a drunk 6 year old gets behind the wheel and kills someone I'd think the parents would responsible for both letting him get drunk and also for getting behind the wheel.

A six year old?

At 17, you know that drinking and driving is dangerous and illegal. Just becaus you are 17 doesn't mean you shouldn't be punished for doing something ILLEGAL. That is absolutely moronic.

Infact it is illegal for a 17 year old to have any alcohol in their system period (legal age is 18) and its illegal for anyone that young to have any alcohol in their system while driving. At 17 he knows that.

So you're saying that at some age, they should know better? Interesting, because you seemed squite certain when you emphatically stated age shouldn't matter in these cases? Would you care to enlighten us on exactly what age they should know better? You say its because they KNOW its illegal. If I tell a six ear old its illegal, and they still do it, does that mean life in prison?

Its UG.... he's been permanently banned from the site, but comes back under different names. He's a 19 or 20 year old kid.

If you are old enough to drive, you're old enough to know the dangers of drinking and driving..... And that's it's illegal. Your comparison is beyond stupid.

You know they do classes and seminars at high school teaching these things right?

When I said age doesn't matter, I thought we all had enough brains to understand that we are talking about those old enough to drive. My mistake obviously

In terms of hockey talent, it's obvious that drafting him or signing him makes sense. It's just one of those things where athletes or celebrities seem to get away with more than most people. He's not the first and won't be the last.

I just find it funny how the opinion of him would most likely change drastically depending on what team he signs with. If he signs with the Leafs, he's a kid who made a mistake and deserves another chance. If he signs with the Habs, he's a murderer who got off easy.

True, nobody gives a (frank) that Cizikas killed a kid in a fit of rage while playing rugby because he's an Isles prospect and nobody gives a (frank) about them

It's actually higher than that. I believe it's actually 21 where blood alcohol must be zero. Drinking age is 19.

Story is he gave a kid who was a couple years younger a piledriver on the field. Unfortunately for the kid, he had a concussion the week prior that was Crosby-esque and shouldn't have been playing at all.

Gill was being used just as he should have been and was doing a good job. But he wasn't putting up 40 points a season, so Toronto fans thought he was useless.
