Just saying, there are hundreds of other things wrong here or to complain about (which you're pretty good at doing and I'd say 7 times out of 10 you're usually right about). The Aulie for Ashton deal is nothing more than one player Burke pumped up to the press for a newer player that Burke pumped up to the press. Same Koolaid, different player.

As for the Schenn deal, I'll await the results before making any conclusions.

Lets get real here. Gustavsson got famous off one good season in a mid tier pro league. He has not proven any level of consistency or that he even deserves a look as a starter. You may have not heard but Wilson got fired... You should probably give it a little time before you just say its the team and not the system.. I seem to remember their goals against dropping pretty substantially when Carlyle took over. But this is hockeybuzz where facts don't matter.

So much arguing... no one is playing hockey right now.. all our negative energy should be focused on the NHL "machine" and not on each other...

There will be plenty of time for silly trade suggestions, player bashing, over-inflation of actual talent of those less then great players on each of our perspective teams once the season starts.
