The primary need of the Oilers mentioned by Kevin Lowe is a top pairing D-man, and those aren't easy to come by. Their is a log jam up front in Edmonton, Nail Yakupov,Teemu Hartikainen ,Magnus Paajarvi they are quality prospects and not to mention all LW. Of these prospects which one do you think can bring a top flight d-man in return?? Answer: obviously only Yak (even that's not 100%). So yea def not untouchable, a bunch of touted prospects does not make a team, the star-studded Edmonton Oilers farm team is currently slumping in the ahl. If I was an Oilers fan I'd be sick of talking about tomorrow and would welcome changes today, if you wait to long for your ''hopeful'' superstars Edmonton, they may be raising the cup in Seattle.
I think a Subban-Yakupov trade is a fair one.
Subban is looking for a long term deal, Montreal hasn't signed him because of the CBA - ROGENIZI
FYI:
Yak is a RW.
After Hall there is not much quality on LW. MPS and Harti have not cracked the leap to the NHL yet.
Edm still is a top team financially, they wont be moving esp with 2 more years on their lease.
This is to be year 3 of the 5 year rebuild plan, which started officially when the Oilers drafted Hall.
Subban for Yak straight up won't happen. Someone is over paying...you wanna do it? |

"no idea what he is talking about". Pretty much the perfect description of a troll. you are right about the lack of facts. I have no problem with someone thinking Seguin is better than Hall, everyone is entitled to their opinions, but to say he is hands down better and such is just ridiculous and using a complete lack of objectivity when comparing the two. For your time checking facts and proving this moron is in fact a moron, I will not tell you to suck it the next time I am fist. - ruttager17
Gracias..I appreciate.
For the record, Seguin is going to be a #1 center in the near future. The kid is gold. But to go on like Hall is chopped liver compared to him...idiocy. |

Seguin played 10 more games in season one, yet scored 20 less points...
Seguin played 20 more games in season two, yet only scored 14 more points, having 2 more goals
Hall played 1:15 a game more in season 2...so in the 60 games he played he had 75-ish more minutes than Seguin, but since Seguin played 20 more games @ 17 minutes a game he actually played 340 more minutes in those games...total of 323 more m inutes played than Hall. With only 2 more goals and 12 more assists.
Now according to NHL.com Seguin and Hall had pretty much 0 PK time, so I have no idea where you are getting your points info.
Seguin had 2:30 PP time/ game, with 15 PP points. Hall? Well he had 3 min/ game on PP and 21 points.
Seguin: 0.827 ppg, Hall : 0.869 ppg
In no way, shape, or form does Seguin come out hands down better than Hall.
Just stop dude you look worse and worse with trying to keep the troll fest going.

Wow
errone chill out, the oilers aren't going to trade the fab 5.... they don't seem to trade their prospects often.
Boners not the only one that says they won't be moved. Stauffer repeats that every day on his show. Besides Tambi said he wants to rebuild through the draft, he has done that and he won't blow it up now. He might make a few minor moves or moving a prv or gagner type of player to improve the team but he's not going to move one of the core players.
As for Boner I wouldn't say Klefbom or Thor is untouchable.
Also doubt that the Bobby Luuu gets traded to Edm or a divisional team. And the oil just signed Dubs for lots of money giving him a chance to be a starter.
I can see Suban coming however, Maybe Fedun, PRV, Gagner, and a 1st for Suban and a 2nd |

You're hilarious. I say a 30 goal guy, when he scored 29, and you think its some big victory. I knew it was 29. I'm just shocked someone would nitpick so badly.
Bahahahahahaha.....
