Give me a break. Just because the guy got picked off the scrap heap doesn't mean his 97 goals in 3 seasons is any less valuable than anyone else's. Moulson is never going anywhere unless his game up and disappears. If "you and I could score 30 goals with JT" than how come Parenteau, Okposo, Hunter, or anyone else that played with him didn't manage that incredibly easy feat?
- eichiefs9

Because they suck - well not so much PA (Playmaker, and thanking JT for $4 million a year now).... but Hunter and Kyle.

setting a nhl record for hits in aseason is not good enough??? he has offensive upside that ais still very green..he could be a 10 goal 15 assist guy in the future.i wouldn't put a label on him yet
- NYI78

Yes 10 Goals I think we would all sign up for, but someone needs to remind him of that. Sometimes he thinks he is on the First Line.....then again with the lack of talent he is....

Exactly, and we don't quite have any Daniel Sedin's banging down our door to play on Tavares' wing. So you don't trade the guy that consistently pots us 30+ goals a year and is still trending upward.

Great players make people around them better, but that doesn't mean you up and trade the guys that mesh really well with those great players just because they're lucky to play with them. That's a Milbury move, shortsighted and ignorant. Not only is Moulson consistently one of the better (and more underrated) goal scorers in the league, but he's a god damn steal at what his salary is.

Im not the biggest fan of Moulson, don't get me wrong I love his numbers, but I wouldn't cry if he ever got traded... I will say, I think he is the most under rated player by the fans of this team. The rest of the league gives him credit where the isles fans just dont.

Please ignore him... Note his name, trolleytracks, he is a troll first and a Senators fan second.

On a note more related to the blog, I'm guessing Isles fans know who they'd use the amnesty buyout clause on if they had the chance, eh? The man should just be sent to the whatever the humane, hockey-player equivalent of the glue factory is already.

Awesome. Truly spectacular. I love how the kid was out of breath and panting into the microphone. I also love how he got more animated and added sound effects as the clip went on. Too bad he didn't smack himself in the face with that thing once or twice.

I loved all 6. Empire & Attack are my faves of the 2 trilogies.

I grew up a big fan of the first trilogy. I was happy when Lucas decided to make the prequil (sp?) trilogy. However, the first movie in the prequil trilogy was bad news. The other two were good. Im interested to see where the story will go from here. Lets just hope they don't ask Carrie Fisher to wear that gold bikini again...

Prior to us signing that 25 year deal in Brooklyn, I would have said not a chance on buying out DP. But now that they have a new home, and they are going to want to fill those seats, Wang just might buy him out.
I personally don't think he will, because its not gonna hurt our cap space for a long time if ever, and its a lot easier to swallow paying 4 mill a year rather then a lump sum.

Star Wars movies in my own personal order:
1) Empire (always the best one)
2) Return
3) Sith
4) New Hope
5) Clones

Distant 6) Menace.

I actually saw Jedi in the movies (yeah, I'm that old) with my since deceased Godfather, so I always remember that fondly. Sith and New Hope are actually tied. I liked the way they tied them all together with part 3, actually.

It would not be a lump sum, if Wang wanted to buy him out, and it would not be at his full salary, more like half..Plus yearly payments..

Yes we have Potvin as part of the space freaks. I agree Potvin Empire was the best. I would put New Hope ahead of Jedi followed by Sith and then Clones. Hopefully the new movies will be more like Empire.

are you seriously getting on one of top 5 (maybe 3) most consistent players on the team right now?

This is the problem... he shouldn't be one of our top 5 players. Sad state of affairs, but the logic for landing in the lottery year after year. At best he should be a guy who sees 8 to 10 minutes a game. He should go out there after we give up a goal or playing like we need a spark and throw the body around - drop the gloves and change the tempo. He should not be on the PK or PP, nor playing 15 to 20 minutes a game. We will never improve from the 75 point team that we are.

BTW - agree with your caption about Ludmir and his contract, won't play for us but some how the dough will stay with us.

first off that caption wasnt mine, its cptjml and i totally disagree with it....

second, dont confuse the word consistent (IE doing his job on a consistent basis) with most points scored.

third, he average 12 minutes a game (which is closer to the requested 8 to 10 as opposed to the 15 to 20)

and last but certainly not least, matt martin was #1 in hits (set a single season record) and #8 in majors...from a physicality standpoint, what else do you want from the guy?
