Jason Spezza. He never gets mentioned in the same breath as the top players, but here's some career pts/gm stats for Spezza compared to other Star players.
Spezza 1.02 pts per game
Ilya Kovalchuk 1.01 points per game
Pavel Datsyuk 0.98 points per game
Brad Richards 0.92 points per game
Eric Staal 0.89 points per game
Rick Nash 0.81 points per game - trolleytracks
But he plays in Ottawa so who cares. ???

You mean the Lappy that spent 9 years on the Kings as a fan favorite? Yeah Laperrière.
However didn't Lapierre get told to shut up and play during the playoffs? Hardly sounds like that isn't who he is anymore.
However speaking of underrated players, Kopitar finished 9th in Selke scoring. Says enough. - bluecoconuts
Are you guys arguing over who has the rights to the nickname Lappy?

I'm going to start calling Dale Weise "The Great One."
We'll see what he has to say about that. |

You have to start to wonder when does enough become enough. How many lockouts is this for the twins. They may just decide to finish career in Sweden.
Look how Sundin will be honoured in the HHOFgame. Cancelled |

I'm not disputing the possibility, but his post seemed to imply that he wanted the Sedins to go play for Modo permanently. Any fan that wants their teams two best players gone should probably be cheering on a different team.
Again, if it's a joke, or I misunderstood, than I apologize. |

Alexandre The Great?
Or would that be an invitation for angry Capitals fans?
Edit: Imagine if the Canucks still had Bolduc, and put him on a line with Weise—it'd be like Gretzky and Ovechkin on the same line... |

Mostly a joke, partially a shot at the NHL.... Nothing wrong with the Sedins,Rinne,Datsyuk...etc but at some point these foreign guys with so much skill and class deserve better than a lockout every 5 years. I'd say they should boycott the NHL(at least until it can figure it's sh*t out) the NHL only grows because of these guys, the only reason why the NHL makes this kind of money or is exciting. I mean take out all overseas players what are you left with? Kris Barch and Paul Bissonette on the 2nd line???
I'm not saying (frank) the Sedins, but in a twisted way I'd like for them to say (frank) the NHL...along with every other skilled player that has the option to play overseas especially the foreign guys that make this game as profitable as hell and get thanked with a semi-decade lockout. |

Ah, I see.
I don't disagree with your sentiment. If I had more will power I'd boycott the NHL, and wouldn't mind if the players did also just to send a message; but as soon as the CBA is resolved, I'll come crawling back, and will want to see the skilled euros. |

I agree . It is about time some top players and fans started telling the NHL to go Ef themselves. This is a Mickey Mouse league but unforunately it is the onely way we get to see talented hockey players .I would love to see the AHL waive that 250 NHL games max rule so when the NHL wants to go on strike the AHL would be the league to see.
The Owner of the Wolves and Heat are not part of the NHL personnel are they? |

I will watch regular TV mon to Fri and on the weekend if there are no good movies on I will then watch the NHL when it comes back . I use to watch all 82 games before. |

IMO your first 2 are dead on. Lapierre and Stuart.
Cal Clutterbuck-fearless forechecker and thunderous hitter. Great posional player with decent hands.
Carl Gunnersson- I find it comical that the leafs are full of overrated players and this guy doesnt get near enough love from even his own fan base. He is the only reason Dumb Dion was -50 last yr.
Curtis Glencross- Burrows with worse hands. A relentless worker who is a top 6 on any team.
Sure you can stick guys like Burrows, Ericsson, or Girardi but these guys are known well enough that underated is only by the brain dead hockey fan |

By peeing in the shower, you can save 1,157 gallons of water a year.
Combine that with the 4 or 5 times you do it in your adult diaper , then we are saving the planet. |

0-0 after 1 st . Wolves have not given up a first period goal yet this year. Only have given up one in the second against the Heat all year also. Maybe our future D is not that horrible? |
