obama continues to show he's far better suited to be oprah's successor than commander in chief.

Canadians tend to be more Liberal in general so I'd say the democrats would be in the lead.

The word 'majority' is misleading when you have FPTP system with 3+ parties vying for votes.

The 'majority' of Canada voted against the Conservatives, however that majority split their votes between the other parties, allowing the conservatives to slide right up the middle.

::EDIT::
This being said, this is a hockey site not a politics site. I urge people to avoid political debates as it usually ends in nothing but poop flinging.

Obama is nothing but a socialist stooge. You'd be better off getting Romney to arbitrate the lockout. At least he's run a business. This community organizer clown, is a useful idiot for the left in America. The sooner you flush this idiot out to sea, the better. He learned how to do public speaking from the WWE. I think he had Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as his mentor.

I wonder if hockey fans are more republican or democrat or if it is a clean split..
- SabresFaninIndiana

I think an interesting case study would be to see what political affiliation the fans have between those that support owners, or players in the lockout dispute. I have my assumptions.

holy sh*t Ek, did you watch sportscentre or were you actually bold enough to watch Leno? Regardless, nothing is getting done with Bettman at the helm, you can say he is the owners puppet all you want, which is true to a certain extent, however its Bettman who starts the war every time, sure Bob Goodenow was almost as hated as him, however Bettman has once again made these negotiations a full on war with Fehr, and at this point it really is a battle of egos and either this will go on for a long time or it won't, but stop acting like you know whats going on, you only make these blogs because you don't want people to leave your site, which i wont hold against you, just stop giving people false hope.

Because the very few cases where Bain Capital moved jobs overseas that was pretty much their only choice to stay in business. For every time they moved a workforce overseas there are dozens more where they saved jobs. Trade agreements such as NAFTA are more responsible for jobs moving overseas than Romney.

No, incorrect. Romney would remove the salary cap and remove most of the revenue sharing and hope things work out.
