From what I have seen from Colborne he is invisible right now. I think Canucks would plan to get him into the gym and get him in game shape. His value as on right now is not high.

I agree if Gillis can get back two pieces of ok value not great he will trade. In the event of a bad contract coming back Luongo would be placed on waivers and playing in CBJ next year or whenever the NHL comes back. There will be no salary dump coming back.

Based on what? Sounds like you haven't seen him play at all

I want to see Colborne play a full season without a broken hand before I ship him out. He was on fire before the injury (AHL player of the month for Oct and 16 points in 9 games) and has 5 points in 10 NHL games.

6'5 centers do not come along often for the leafs, even if he is a 2/3 liner.

Leafs should not give futures for 35 year old goalies

He played 10games with the Leafs last year...he had a fairly serious wrist injury in Nov. and played the rest of the season with it...he was lighting up the AHL when he got hurt, and stalled after it...
I think he has 2nd line potential, especially if he bulks up...he has a big frame and decent hands...
If Colborne and Reimer are going to Van...Komi has to be going as well...

The game is on at like 4, should have no problem running in.

So you said you saw him, but you lied?

I think Gillis has made it quite clear that he will NOT be taking any salary dumps in a Luongo deal.

I saw him in a few Marlies games, looked like a big young guy who's still developing. See what he does this year.

Exactly . He has done nothing outstanding yet and who knows how he will turn out.I can not see him at least for 5 years being the number 2 center.

I see Komi's salary and term left exactly like Ballard. I don't have a problem swapping them out . We need a RHD so if we took Komi and dumped Ballard I would be ok.

Komi use to be good before he became a Leaf maybe he could return to form .If it was Luongo Ballard for Colborne Reimer and Komi ,why not?

under the proposed CBA, if Luongo retires who's on the hook for his cap hit - Leafs or Canucks?

Thats basically Luongo for Colborne and Reimer .. and swap players we dont want for players we dont want.

Truth is I would not swap Colborne for Luongo straight up

My offer would be Komi and Reimer
