didnt get to bed til after midnight last night and i had one, two, three, eight beers too many at the gig.

Yeah I read it, it is not that bad, until the admins ask the bloggers to not write troll type blogs, not much we can do other than lock it or delete it, but that rarely happens.

Alright, Oilers are my western team, I don't share as much optimism as others. On a realistic front they will be very fortunate to make the playoffs. Whether I like the team or not a bad signing is a bad signing. Hence my negativity on Loungo in T.O., unless there's contract length reduction in the CBA. I'm a Leafs fan, but they suck. As much as the Oilers are heading up, people forget how long and bad they've stunk and how much these same front office guys bunked the team up, so the idea they couldn't continue to bunk it up and possibly keep sucking for longer is a rose coloured view. In both cases these are bad teams. Both have potential, and Edmonton's margin of error is way bigger than the Laughs but there's no guarantee, especially in a cap world.

Hmmmmmmmmmm........... if they cancelled the entire year, then there would be a boat load of free agents for the next year. And the Leafs will have rid themselves of a bunch of lousy player/contracts.
