No worries Haley is in the Rangers organization and will be back TKOing guys in no time, like half the Islander team. Way to go Wang!! - kasperrko
You can be DP will stay clear of Haley. I knew he would end up with the Rags. Saw that coming a mile away. |

who on this site would take on a guy as big as Johnson...? that's right..none of you.....
Granted, Ricky's ego makes him think he 6'5", instead of 5'6".
But as a teammate, you can't NOT give him props for it. I know it burns you to say anything complimentary about him, except his hairline...but like we say to the refs, you gotta call it both ways. - jmo16
Sure I can. He went out there not ready to fight. He thought he was going to skate around like he was in ice capades and the refs wouldn't let it happen. He looked like a fool. I'll call it both ways when it's warranted in this instance it's not. |

I wonder if Kasper knows that DP is Third all time for goalie wins for the Islanders & only 27 wins away from Second held By Chico.
He's also faced almost 1700 shots more then Billy Smith did for his career. While giving up almost 1200 less goals then Smith.
(This by the way is not a competitive of the 2 players, where im trying to make a case for DP being better.. he of course is NOT. The 2 players played in a different era & Bill was always known as an above avg reg season goalie.. he became an awesome goalie when the games mattered in the playoffs... im just tossing out stats to drive Kasper nutty... its been too long)

I had a hard time believing he would take a photo of himself after getting embarassed by your back up goalie. I was cringeing for a month after that, can't imagine how he felt. Besides the team USA jersey in the back ground is a little bit of a tell. |

But it's an Isles jersey in the other one. Looks real to me, exactly how I imagined he looked after that. |

Heres the bottom line..........Rickys job is to stop the puck. Its not to score, assist, or fight. There was no reason with his injury history to initiate a fight with Johnson after Cooke ran him. His job is to put the team first, and time after time, Ricky does what Ricky wants. Its another example of his selfishness, and immaturity. How do you like a guy who has proven nothing, won nothing, yet acts like he's among the elite of the NHL? Quite frankly, as a fan, he's an embaressment!

The fact of the matter is, he thought because he crushed Montoya, and because he's got some beef to his physique that he could trade blows. His not a team player, and its really old. He's too old to not be mature, and its not a good look for this franchise. |

I stand corrected i guess i should have gone back and checked the other one . I can't see him getting a picture after he got humiliated. Besides, this pic is from his younger years. He's clean cut. Now he's in some pseudo Jim Morrison hippyish stage of his life. |

I'm not a Yankee fan but watching A-Rod hit is like watching DP try to play goal. These two really have a lot in common. |

Best tweet of the night regarding that:
Jason Gay @jasonWSJ
A-Rod's at-bats are like tiny little Jets games.
I'd swap him out for Ibanez at DH if the Yanks are still down for his next at bat |

The Jets another nightmare for me. They give up two draft picks for Tebow and do not use the guy and the #1 picks on the dline are doing nothing. This is what happens when you hire guys like Tannenbaum as GM who know nothing about football talent. Regarding the Yankees Joe better look to change the lineup he does not want to go out in the first round again. You cannot just wait in these short series. |

They dont have a choice at this point.........im sure if they could take back that contract, they'd do it in a heartbeat. I wouldnt have been such a bad contract if he didnt have season ending injuries season after season. |

I'm a Giants fan but far from a Jets hater. They make so many baffling moves though. Tebow seemed like one of those publicity moves that a lower-tier team that needs to get asses in seats/sell jerseys would make. Not something the Jets needed. Waste of draft picks. It's mind boggling to watch Sanchez start to drive down the field, only to have Tebow come in for a play and totally throw off his rhythm.
Binder Joe is notorious, to me anyway, for waiting just too long to make a change. Pitcher starting to slow down and get shelled in the 5th? Sure, he'll take him out in the 6th after he lets up 2-3 runs. It's not all on A-Rod, nobody is hitting period...save for Jeter and Martin a little. Tex, Grando, and Ichiro need to all start contributing offensively before I'm done typing this post. The difference between them and K-Rod is that they have all been at least somewhat productive recently. He hasn't done jack lately. No homers in his last 70-something at-bats and only 1 XBH in a similar span. If he wants to keep him in the lineup, at least play him over Chavo at 3rd...not as the DH when you have Ibanez on the bench.
edit: My prayers are answered...Ibanez on deck to pinch hit for A-Rod! |
