You're getting desperate.
Leafs fans told me they support the Raptors and Jays only when they win.
That's the exact definition of a fair weather fan.

- woopstash

Because they're Leaf fans, not Raptors or Jays fans.

I doubt you'll find too many die hard Cubs fans that are incredibly loyal to the Hawks either. Or Sox fans to the Bruins.

Find me another city that supports their second, third, fourth most popular teams through bad years....

Oh nice, a new argument from you. How thoughtful.
Did you even read my last response? Do you even know how to read?

- woopstash

As much fun as it would be to eventually reach the "your riots were worse than our riots" stage, this is all very simple. You said Toronto doesn't support all of their teams. You were proven wrong. Time for you to deal with that.

You don't cheer for Canadian teams? You should be kicked out of Canada.
- woopstash

Keep trying, bud.
I've watched my favourite team win 3 Cups. It's been nice.

Alright.

Penguins fan since draft day 2005

So Toronto just isn't large enough to support all their teams?

Actually it was because of ownership like I previously said.
Toronto is a big city. For the "hockey centre of the universe" they should be able to draw more fans than other cities do to junior games.

- woopstash

Vancouver lost the Grizzlies because of ownership? The expos left because of ownership?

You mean, the owners couldn't get people to come to games... right?

I was proven wrong? By what? The fact that The Blue Jays were once again in the bottom tier for attendance this season? Or how TFC is below the average MLS attendance? Yes, you're right. Toronto is doing a great job supporting their teams.

that moment, when your a phony. that moment when you cant see the pens win. that moment when your not in Pittsburgh. that moment when the pens won the cup, you were not even in Pittsburgh celebrating. that moment when you probably see them once or twice a year but thats it for a visit to Pittsburgh.

name any team ever, besides the Leafs, that draws exceptional attendance numbers when the team sucks?

I'd wager you won't find one. So, every fan of ever team in ever is a fairweather fan, except Leaf fans.

Are you aware of the population difference between Halifax and Toronto? Congrats, Halifax and Toronto have won the same amount of Stanley Cups over the last 45 years.

Proven wrong by this:

The Blue Jays averaged 25,000 plus a game. Thats more than any other team in Canada, in any sport.

So yes, Toronto fans do support their team and would support their teams more if they actually could compete and entertain.

Youre new to this troll thing, arent you..

I would research the Vancouver Grizzlies if I were you. The results might startle you.

TFC sold out the first few years. Consistenly being one of the worst teams in the league has cause fans to stop spending their money. Doesn't means they're not fans... just means they don't spend their money till they see the owners spend it wisely.

How many cities are? Have you seen the Hawks attendance figures in their off years? How about Pittsburgh? how are the Philly Phantoms doing? The Dallas Stars?

Name me some other cities that support as many pro teams as Toronto does, and still support multiple minor league teams, AND junior teams. And if you can find any, tell me how those teams did in bad years.

Then shut up and stop slamming Toronto.

Why are we only going back 45 years? Lets go back to the beginning if we're going to go back at all. So no, not the same amout of cups. Dont pick dates at your own convenience.

You have no pro sports teams where you live, so please refrain from discussing something you clearly dont understand.

The results are that they folded and moved. In less than 5 years. Pathetic.

What he also doesnt understand is the insane ticket prices to sporting events in Toronto and the extra costs of equally insane parking, beer, food etc rates.

I have a favourite hockey team. And I've seen them win 3 Cups. How about you?
Do you think I don't realize there's no NHL team in Halifax? So only people who live in cities with NHL teams are allowed to cheer for that team? Brilliant logic.

Canada is not a hockey country is what you're saying then. Canada cant support it's teams, thats why fans cheer for teams outside the country.

Like I said, for the centre of the hockey universe, Toronto should be able to get more fans to their AHL games than other cities do to their junior league games. Do you agree or disagree?

that moment when you say "youve seen them win 3 cups" which was most likely on tv, but your still no where in pittsburgh or to celebrate amongst other pittsburgh fans in pittsburgh, when you dont have friends in pittsburgh most likely and live in halifax. So congrats, would you like a trophy?
