It's nowhere near as big as Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver but it's not a "small town."
Bigger places I wouldn't mind to live: Vancouver, Quebec City, Montreal.

Small compared to Canada's large cities but larger compared to the rest of Canada.
