Sure. We can't take this too seriously, the poll had Jason Dawe in it. - RynoBull
I'm tempted to bet money that Lindy Ruff gets voted in. We definitely can't take this seriously. |

i thought that the fact it had Varada on it was worse..... but having Varada on it also meant i couldn't pass up being one of the 2% who voted for him... but that could just mean i am the only one. |

Who in god's name are the 21% who did not think that Gilbert Perreault was one of the top centers in Buffalo Sabres History????
Perreault should have been unanimous. He was the Face of the franchise for 16 years and without a shadow of doubt, the best Sabre ever |

WOW....
This website is awfully slow moving now.... good thing that "us new people" are gone and stopped "ruining this site for the elders of the site"
Did we get Gagner yet?? whats the hold up with Sabres Front Office these days? |

I think it speaks to the young age of a lot of people on this site. It's a shame that some of these classic players are forgotten about. - Powerslave
That's what happens when they play on mediocre teams. |

Campbell and Myers over Hajt and Korab? Come on guys, really? - CaptainRivet
I had Hajt over Myers.
BTW, Hajt's daughter is totally on these boards. |

All no brainers, but I chose Hawerchuk over Turgeon. Close call but I see Dale more valuable even though Turgeon had the talent edge. |

Same here. Though i went back and forth about 10 times. With Turgeon you'd have to make 4 scoring lines, so I put Peca in as a shut down center with some grit |

I guess part of my problem was not realizing they were both here the same amount of years. For some reason I thought Hawerchuk had only been here for 2 or 3 years tops, but he was here for a bit over 4 full seasons.
Not sure there's any doubt he's the better player, I was just wrong in thinking Turgeon was here a lot longer.
EDIT: Also part of my reasoning is that Turgeon became the great player he was here in Buffalo, whereas Hawerchuk was a great before he came here. |

while i agree with this i would think that #11 was and will always be more of the face of the franchise. |
