I know there is a lot of young guys on this site so a lot of these votes are skewed towards the newer guys so it was nice to Housley getting some love. For a lot of years he was the only guy worth watching in this town.

Didn't get a lot of respect, but a great skater and passer.

Not that he's on my top 6 list but Giordano is ahead of many of the options given.

Believe me, it was hard enough to keep it down to around 22-24 players

IMO Housley and Macoun belong there ahead of Reggie and Neon Dion.

Hey I get it. Not quite a Grandpa, but my Dad would talk about Richard Duff, Johnny Bauer, Dave Keon and Normy Ullman and I would be like.... who the hell are those guys.

Agreed I'd take him over Jbow, Gauthier, Morris and such any day.

I agree.

Reggie and Macoun are almost interchangeable. For we they are a wash.

Phaneuf...was good when with the flames, so in not considering what he's done lately. he could sneak in as the 6th. But Housely definitely should be in before him

Macinnis, Suter, Reinhart, Housely, with Macoun, Reggie, Phaneuf fighting for the final 2 spots.

If points are the decider, its phaneuf
If considering what they did as a shut down player, Macoun/Reggie are the choices.

I have to put McCrimmon in. Mr. Steady back there... always pushing the puck up the ice. It just seemed like everytime he was on the ice the play went in the right direction.

I'm shocked at how many votes reggie is getting... Not because he wasn't good. In his prime he was a premiere shut down guy... But on this list for me, he's maybe number 8 or 9... Right now he's almost tied with Housley. That's crazy to me.
- jtommyt

Only iginla has played more games as a Flame. That definately works in his favour.

LOL. How does Commodore get 6% ? The only time he got in the line up is when someone was hurt.

Im putting together the list of centers for you guys to pick from...and it seems the other bloggers are trying to stick to players who played the "majority" of their career with the team.

Doug Gilmour...played most games with the Leafs, but won a cup with the Flames...what do you guys think?

Flames total gp - 266 - cup
Toronto total gp - 393
St Louis total gp - 384

Gilmour was key to that cup win. He should be on the list for sure IMO. Plus that list is going to be embarrassing after the first few names or so.
