Might be nice seeing some guys playing for pride or love of the game. Not just money grabbing babies. Could be good hockey.

Well it is about playing and cheering for the crest on the front of the jersey and not the name on the back.....

Fans watch the NHL because it's the best hockey on Earth. It's the best hockey on Earth, because it employs the best hockey players on Earth. Anyone who would be a replacement hockey player, would probably not even be a top player in the CHL....I don't see how he would attract players to act as replacements without having a joke of a product on the ice.

i would not support the league...as this goes further...i'm leaning on not supporting the league when it comes back...

Are you saying when the Flyers and Pens meet next time, you have the heart to change the channel and watch the weather Network? Hard to fathom. I hate the NHL and the NHLPA but I am not that strong to boycott them. I love the game too much to be playing hard to get. Most fans are the same, we can't do that for the love of the game and they know that and using that to their advantage.

Let's just replace Bettman and we can solve all the problems. Love to see that silly smirk wiped of his face once and for all.
- BurnabyBob

Buttman is a very successful man and doing a great job in the eyes of the owners. He is not the issue, (although I'd love to see him get hit by a puck in the mouth from Chara), players are the issue here. The owners take huge financial risks and they have the right to get adequate revenue based on their investments. Players get paid way too much to play the game they love and still wouldn't want to sign. I'd play for 60k a year with a smile on my face every game, let alone few millions. Com'on you greedy fukcs! sign the sh!t already!

Yes! And the Dad was Eric Nesterenko who taught Youngblood to fight, which none of the idiot Blackhawk fans on this site get

Even if it was, a picket line isn't to prevent union members from anything, as I understand.

Everyones initial reaction is screw you , but how long would it rally take to forget about Mason Raymond or Clarke MacArthur ? I would say 1 fight and 1 goal will erase a lot of memories.

All the NHLers will be in Europe and we will get the Euros that were cut .

I love Bettman

a picket line is a union's public display of their strike. legally no, it doesn't prevent members from anything. except banishment when the strike is over.

The poll is missing some options.

Do I support replacement players? I do. If players can walk away from the table and play elsewhere then why can't owners drop in replacements?

You don't hear owners crying about their players heading to Europe. Can you imagine the uproar from the PA if the owners did hire replacements? It's a massive double standard in my opinion.

Oh and I would go to a game or 2 if there were AHL prices

I'd watch it. Hell, I enjoy watching beer leagues and Timbits play hockey so why not replacement players? It's not like Toronto Maple Leafs hockey could get any worse anyway.
