Aucoin in his prime was a better player than Streit.
For a couple years... Aucoin was a Beast!!!
But Kindlyrick will say he was the best defenceman playing on a poopty team.
On any other team he would be in the pressbox....

To answer your question , mark streets a better pp QB on a worse team - Danformo
Do you mean Jason Street from Friday night lights? Whens the last time Mark Streit scored from the point?
Isles havent had a bomb from the point since MAB, and he was brutal |

Like i said u can throw whatever point totals u want out there. If u watched aucoin play then u know he was better on the pp then streit. His shot, one timer, and his controlling the point capabilities far exceeded streits. He was better in every facet and i think few would disagree. Cue in letsgoisles. - Cptmjl

I was the first buyer of Aucoin on here. He was the man on the isles.
Edit: Second buyer, but it was a photo finish |

Ok the guy was good but people have him up there like he was a defensive God. I mean again he was ok but seriously was not that great. He was just as good as Roman Hamrlik. I hate to say it like this but he was no Brian Leetch or Orr, Or even Lidstrom |

You're blowing up what people are saying again. No one is saying he is a defensive God. What I was saying he was better than Streit on the PP and was an all aroung better defenceman. That's it |

He was a far better defenceman for the Isles than Hamrlik. I can't believe you just posted this? |

Nabokov appears unwanted
9:26AM ET
Evgeni Nabokov | Islanders
While other players head overseas during the NHL lockout, Evgeni Nabokov remains without a substitute pro gig with which to keep himself busy and limber. And not because the veteran netminder doesn't want to compete.
According to Slava Malamud, Vladislav Tretiak recently told Sport-Express there isn't much interest in the New York Islanders netminder.
"Nabokov is still waiting for KHL offers, but there are none ..."
That level of interest could change once injuries start to take their inevitable toll. However, as it stands, Nabokov doesn't appear to be too popular an option in his home region.
