Dee you have to do more on "the rumors" in the NY Post from Monday if you want any credit as someone in the media. Who the hell cares about the 7 all-time Defensemen in Isles history during a lockout when there is news worthy information out there..... where there is SMOKE there is FIRE! Come on we deserve more - and there is more out there.

Yeah but sometimes that "fire" isn't much more than a lit match. I don't doubt that Laffer and said "group" may have inquired/made an offer/whatever, but nobody knows to what extent talks went or anything like that. There may have been some super preliminary talks, but that's far from having a formal offer on the table. I'll believe it when a real hockey news outlet releases it. Not the NY Post who could give a crap less about hockey.

This list is pretty funny. If anyone had any doubt that Dee has only been an Islander fan for about 5 or 6 years this should end that doubt.

Lachance played forever on this team and should be on the list. So should Bam Bam Langevin, and many other guys over that slop.

Anyone voting for Roman should be shot. He was terrible as an Islander and we would have been better off keeping Brewer.

funniest part of the Wang story is he supposedly wants 300+ million for a team he bought for 140 mill.... which was actually 40 mill and too on 100 mill in debt. Now that team is losing over 20 mill a year and he wants to double his investment in the worst economy since the depression. You gotta love the guy taking a shot at least.

Dodgers went for a billion.. freak it ask for 300 million.

I think Tomas Jonsson belongs on an Isles all-time best "D" man list as well. I'd probably swap out Pilon for Jonsson, but I agree with the top six otherwise.

Dont even answer her...........anyone who says Aucoin doesnt belong on that list, doesnt know anything about hockey. The guy averaged more minutes than anyone on the isles since. They should have locked him up for 4 years. The defense fell apart after he left...

No offense, but I don't give a sh*t about the players. I only care about the jersey and the logo on the front. If the NHL brings in replacements, I'll watch for sure. It's about the team not the players on it.

Like i said u can throw whatever point totals u want out there. If u watched aucoin play then u know he was better on the pp then streit. His shot, one timer, and his controlling the point capabilities far exceeded streits. He was better in every facet and i think few would disagree. Cue in letsgoisles.
