Wow...you're an angry individual towards Toronto. Gotta stab whenever you can I see.

I lived there for 4 years. Most people I met were pompous wieners.

Nope.

Lived in the city for 6+ years now and because I'm a friendly guy I find that everyone else is too.

The only people who don't like the city are people that walk around angry at the slightest thing that goes wrong. They hear a car horn honk and immediately think "Good ol toronto, everyone is so rude".

My wife grew in MTL where they hate toronto more than anyone and even she admits after a few years she realized Toronto wasn't the problem but it was that everyone that thinks they're supposed to hate Toronto spends more time focusing on that rather then realizing it's a great city...a big city filled with lots of different people. It's a world-class city with many many things to love about it. If you focus on hating anything, you can hate anything.

Honestly...not even close. I think from a Canucks perspective; you guys feel that way towards Toronto. But from a Toronto perspective, the Canucks are just another team the Leafs play (and lose to).

Rivalries:
Habs
Sens
Bruins
Philly
Sabres
Red Wings
Devils
Any remaining Canadian teams
And the rest of the league.

LOL. A little defensive I see. I moved to Toronto because I heard great things. Went there planning on loving it. Had no preconceived notions. Made a few good friends but a lot of people were just arrogant. Lived in several cities across Canada and the US. Toronto is one of if not the worst of em. Montreal, Vancouver, Chicago were the best. Never lived in Quebec City but wish I could.

Not defensive at all...just heard this argument before and just find the same hatred people have for Toronto in Canada is the same people have for NY in the states...yet I absolutely love NY and would move there in a heartbeat as it's Toronto x10.

Don't get me wrong, like I said, there's lots of people here and many are idiots...but they're in every city including MTL, Chicago and Vancouver. I have friends in Vancouver that don't like it and want to come back to Toronto and I have friends in MTL that hate Toronto cause "it's too big and too fast".

I like the big cities, I don't get offended by the go go go of it or someone bumping into me on a packed street. If you're in a big city and you're driving/walking like a grandma, damn right you'll get honked at or cut off...it's a busy place and you're messing up traffic.

Again, the people who are offended easily might not like it, fair enough. But I love it, I get it, I appreciate it for what it is and what it offers and whenever I've travelled for any length of time to any other smaller city I think "it's weird". But I don't go around saying "Vancouver is weird" just cause I feel that way and then hating the city for it.

Most recent playoff teams/divisional rival (Bruins) and the whole Kessel trade.

Either way...100's of reasons to hate them before even considering the Canucks.

Thus why I will never understand the sheer hatred Canucks fans have for Toronto.

It's like hating the homeless guy on the corner just cause of the way he sits there and....yeah just look at him, ahhh I hate him and his cardboard box!

Our riots were a setup...you see the cop cars that got burned? They were like 1986 caprices Cops staged it so that our weak/cheap government would buy them modern police equipment.

I think the Wolves are one of the few AHL teams that has all their games broadcast. I'm sure you could either get whatever channel is carrying them or order the games over the Internet through the AHL
- IanEsplen

They put the Marlies games on Leafs TV - but the Ricoh Centre has such poor lighting, it's not a very enjoyable experience to watch it.

Oh, Lord, are you kidding me?

You need to go to a Bosox/Yankees game.

#1 Leafs rivalry is the Habs (although the Habs' #1 rival is the Bruins).

As much as I hate to admit it, Leafs/Habs doesn't even hold a candle to Yankees/Bosox.

Why do you guys hate Toronto so much? I get why some of their fans are bitter because they haven't seen the playoffs in years, but the Canucks really have no rivalry with them as a team. I hate Chicago, Boston, LA and Calgary much more.
