Let's just say it's easier supporting middle class employees than millionaires playing hockey.

Ah yes, trying to discredit someone's opinion by intentionally omitting any mention of relativity.

It's not discrediting your opinion, it's asking if you would support a Union comprised of non income earning people, or if you only support the working mans union.

Meh, always depends on the situation. I usually support unions.

A bag lady "union" would probably just be an association for mutual assistance and solidarity, so this would probably be a good idea.

Well, on a certain point of view, it's hard to feel empathy for millionaires. On another point of view, I find it hard to justify a salary drop when the League's income is at an all-time high.

Who was the other winger?

Oh, Scott Hartnell you say? Damn, he scored 37 goals for the first time in his career!

You're right, Giroux had nothing to do with their performance. I'll just bow down to your infinite knowledge.

- Pecafan Fan

Obviously Jagr never got great numbers before he played with Giroux. Oh yeah those numbers were because of the other french guy. why of course!

Just not sure what's so exciting about an aging Jagr that puts up 54 pts and is burnt at the end of the season and playoffs.

Since when are you so excited about 50pts players turning 40 years old?

Unions are very important. How else could lazy people keep jobs?

Still a great player, lost a step or two, most players at his age do, not like he is Scott (frank)ing Gomez or anything, still decent numbers, he had more points than Pleks did, and would have been 4th on the habs in points. You don't think Pleks could have used a winger like him? Or the habs couldn't have used some scoring from their second line, or any other line besides the 1st line for that matter? Pretty sure Pleks points would have been higher with some decent wingers, 4.5 million, what (frank)ing odds for a year or two? Seeing how they are dishing out 6 million a season for 60 point players now. All season long of fans wanting a winger for Pleks's line, the habs could have had him for 4.5 against the cap and flushed the useless mexican to Hamilton, stoned two birds with one kill...
