And Mikhail Prokhorov (owner of the nets) Has once again said he will not consider buying the Islanders or any other NHL team and move them to Brooklyn until he completes his promise to deliver a NBA championship by 2015

From pictures, it looks like a nice arena.

It's a possibility but no one really knows. I will be going to the arena oct 15 for a nets pre season game to check it out. For 1.1 billion dollarsit cost to build i'm expecting this place to look like the Ritz Carlton.

I would be extremely happy at least he will spend money to put a good product on the ice unlike Wang who always looks to save money and worries more about real estate

I'd be happy, but guarded. I was happy when Spano bought the team from Pickett. I was happy when Wang "saved" the Islanders in 2000. Sometimes when you think you can't do any worse, it turns out you really can! Ultimately, I'd be happy if ownership...whether it's Wang or someone else...hired a smart hockey man to be president of hockey operations, and then the owner just stepped away from the vast majority of day-to-day hockey decisions and hirings.

I'm not sure why he didn't put the seats in the arena, or @ least have it set up to be an easy fix.

But it's not my money...lol.

He had his yacht up here in the great lakes this summer... what a beast!!!

I hope they make the move... it would be exciting!!!
