Reminds me of a scene from The Change Up.

The wife goes from hot to not in about 7 seconds.

Clarke over anyone who ever dressed for the Flyers as captain......hands down
- nastyflyergirl

leave me alon..

On the bright side Bryz played steller for The red army team, had his flyers mask on as well...

Boy I wish I could go back in time and tell Shero or Snider after the red army game that someday the red army and the flyers would share the same goalie lol

I was in a car with no authority over the radio recently, and was treated to a new song I believe was titled "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together". Expectedly, the lyrical content was very subtle.

I don't understand any of it. We're not exactly getting much help from rock these days, either. Most rock coming out seems like it's either really whiny or Nickelback.

Usually the word "or" implies two different things.

The best and most recent band I can think of off the top off my head is Lincoln Park. And that is not all that recent.

I was into Linkin Park in high school. Grew out of them, but they're ok. They're something whiny too, though.

I can't even remember the last time I listened to the radio. In fact I don't remember the last time I listened to anything other than Pennywise or NOFX.

Not that they'd crack my top four, but i think richards and carter both contributed alot more than sittler and hawerchuk when they were here.

Strickland's guess is the same as mine-probably couldn't be teammates in Eliteserin or other leagues with import rules.

I was pretty suprised he wasn't, as far as play for the flyers he and brindamour are very comparable.

Both Richards and Carter should have been included. I wouldn't have changed my votes to include either, though

Personally, I would be all in for replacement players right now.

I show very little loyalty to these guys, it's mainly to the logo on the front.

Whining about making 500,000 dollars a year. They are overpaid as it is.

I want hockey. Which by now they should understand isn't OWNED by any of them.

Cleary's comments today about the players being ready to hold out for a really long time (paraphrased off of TSN), made me laugh. I think the billionaire, can hold out a little longer than the millionaire. The fan can so as well.

The players aren't whining about making 500K a year. Let me ask you one simple question. What would be your reaction if the Company you work for took in record revenue, and asked you to take a paycut? Are you even aware of the position of the players or the owners? Are you even aware of what the main core issues are? What the players have offered? What the owners have offered. Because it seems to me that you aren't aware of the main issues and why there is a lockout.

And seriously, replacement players? What good would that do? That's laughable. If you want to watch that level of Hockey there are plenty of other Leagues to watch that is probably a better product then any League of replacement players would be.

It isn't laughable for the everyday fan to want hockey by any means possible. Sure we could look to other levels of hockey but would it still be local? Would we still be rooting for our team? Of course the product wouldn't be up to expectations but I don't feel any hockey anywhere will be until the NHL sorts this mess out.
As for where the players and the owners stands on a new agreement, it's a joke either way. This could have been talked about a year ago. It's like waiting for the very last minute to do your homework before class and still being late. There is so much pie to share, why not just cut it in half?

I didn't say it was laughable for the everyday fans to want Hockey by any means possible. We all want Hockey. There are criticisms to be made towards both sides in this. But to characterize repeatedly as just a bunch of millionaire players whining is simply being uninformed. Both sides in my opinion have legitimate positions. It's a question of coming to a compromise and an agreement on how to solve the key issues.

Replacement players?

What kind of level of play do you think you would get with replacement players? You may as well go down and watch the local beer league.
