Thats what this exercise is about. Read yesterdays blog/comments.

The guy who wrote the blog, made the same choices as I did. It can be whatever you want it to be. I chose to make my choices how I chose to!

That is certainly true. However all time greats such as Gretzky, Lemieux, Howe, Clarke, would have been top players in any era.

True. I just miss guys like Petr Klima & Walt Podubny

Sometimes it is the only thing I can listen to.

Heres the biggest question, Im almost certain the C would go to one of these centers so who would it be?

Im going to go out on a limb and say Poulin with clark as an A

- flyers4487

Clarke over anyone who ever dressed for the Flyers as captain......hands down

Any comparison of one sports era to another is nothing more than speculation. There's no way to pit Gretzky in his prime against Crosby or Malkin or Giroux in theirs.
- Jsaquella

You couldn't even pit Mario and Wayne in their prime because of the way the game was played.

Ps- (Frank) you're old. 1910 Fruitgum Company? That was seriously the name of a band?

I had to buy the cd for my daughter for her birthday. That mess is burned into my skull. I force my kids to listen to good music in the car-Stones, Beatles, CCR, VH, Pearl Jam-to try and cure their poopty music taste. But my wife undoes it with Disney radio and country music.

A valiant but ultimately impossible effort on your part, I fear.

Fortunately, I look nothing like Buttman. He kind of reminds me of the Penguin (Batman villain), if he loved lockouts instead of crime.

My picks as well. I hated to leave off Rick MacLeish, however.

I approve of this message, but it's pretty tough to compete with the ADD inducing candy pop music out there right now. Blech.

The only three things I remember:
My date wore a black dress, the main song was "Wonderful Tonight" from Eric Clapton & I consumed a heroic amount of alcohol & weed

There's one song where the chick grunts at the end of every verse. It sounds like she's trying to force out a deuce

I don't understand any of it. We're not exactly getting much help from rock these days, either. Most rock coming out seems like it's either really whiny or Nickelback.

So many ways to make fun of Wham and this song but I can't think of a clean way to do it.

So like Mark Cuban, "I'm out".

Reminds me of a scene from The Change Up.

The wife goes from hot to not in about 7 seconds.

Or it gets ignored. Gaslight Anthem's new CD is really solid. Don't hear it on the radio at all. Even the new Van Halen & Springsteen CDs haven't gotten a lot of airplay.

Too easy to make cookie cutter pop garbage.
