All I know is that not a penny will leave my pocket towards anything nhl or nhlpa related. I will still watch the games on T.V if they come back, thats about it. I also usually go to several games a year due to my father in laws company season tickets. I'll make sure not to buy drinks, food, ect either if I attend.

So what if the lockout is resolved? It will just happen again in 4-5 years. Enough is enough and people need to make a serious stand and let the league and players know they cannot just stop playing hockey when they feel like it to argue over who has 3 porches rather than 2.

Fans need to treat the NHL like fans did in the 1994 MLB strike.

Pity Gomez won't be able to do what he does best: doing more for the franchise than Koivu.

Gomez played on the 3rd line with Elias, Sykora, Arnott, and a bunch of other in front of him, Stevens, Neidermeyer and Brodeur behind...

Koivu had...oh yeah, the same skill level surrounding him. My bad, you are right.

Yeah, those cups and that trophy really helped the Habs.

I actually don't think Koivu has done much for the franchise, but still, Gomez has done nothing, except convincing Gionta and Cammalleri to sign in Montreal

Really? Im pretty sure Elias, Sykora, and Arnott, were together on the 1st line for NJ.

Not 3rd line. So i guess gomez put up similar numbers to koivu while getting 3rd line minutes, while koivu got top line minutes?

Not that I care too much about either Koivu or Gomez, but to put it bluntly, Gomez (frank)ing blows.

isn't that what I said?!?

As for similar numbers...look at Gomez numbers during the cup years...not all that great...he wasn't playing a key role on those teams...he played a key role in his last few years, but those teams went nowhere.

To be fair, Koivu is 5 years older than Gomez and he finds a way to post better numbers than him playing on the 3rd line in Anaheim...
