What kind of Hockey League doesn't have hockey?

- NOAH_U

so the same goes for the Swiss league. it's better because it's in business. fine. NHL starts up and Davos isn't the best team anymore.

If a player is signed by a big team (SKA, CSKA, UFA) they are treated and handled similarly to the NHL. The reason why the KHL has such a bad rep is that they have small teams run by gangster oil blood money types that shuttle players via buses and soviet era planes.

So what you're saying is, they have a bunch of NY Islanders type clubs in the KHL?

because i just don't think the players should be getting 14% more of the revenue than the owners, who by the way, still have many other expenses to pay. the owners did agree to 54-57 yes, but that was when they were paying, what, 75? of course the danger for the players is that if they give in to 50 now, what will it be next?
- DoubleDown

I think it will eventually settle out at 50/50, with the owners agreeing to let it climb over the next 5 years. Then they will want it back again.

But, how long is it gonna take the players to agree to that?

The owners know the bulk of these kids are likely living "hand to mouth", they'll bend, eventually.

Maybe not this season, but they will bend.

About 6 yes. Vityaz hired every goon from the ECHL that they could to make the team cheap but pulling in views.

They have been a cheap team until this year. They're putting in a lot of cash now and preparing to win the Cup.

Guess he could "retire" from the NHL and play in the KHL a few months later.
