Perfect contract for both sides...
By keeping it to two years, it keeps the cap# lower and gives us time to evaluate which of our young centers we want to move forward with and who we find to be expendable via trade...
Or even which would be better suited on the wing
I like the direction of the team a lot...
But we still need another top4 defenseman IMO,
Preferably with some size & grit
And a top6 gritty winger that can score 25+ goals
And (probably most importantly) a succession plan in net for life after Miller... Bc even if he does re-sign, he prib doesn't have too many years left as a top5 goalie
(and some would argue he's never been one except for his Vezina season)

To me the Ennis deal screams of trade bait at some point.
WOW! Its now finally hitting me that there most likely wont be a season.. Both the owners and players don't give a poop about US the fans! All they wan't is money and a lot of it. Both sides are wrong and both sides need to come to an agreement. Players make to much and owners wan't more %.
I have zero respect for the NHLPA as a whole. Its pathetic they won't take less money to play the sport they love in front of the fans that they ALWAYS say are the most important part of the NHL. What a lie that is and its showing with the lockout.

The Kinzua dam is both a marvel of modern engineering and a tragedy at the same time.

Alright this has nothing to do with that but I went to the Kinzua dam this summer for the first time and learned a lot about it. I will tell you this. I love boating on the reservoir! Such beautiful scenery!

oh you got it wrong!!!
the players are ALL for the fans, and they want to play, i mean that is all i have heard from them, "the fans" "we want to play" to the media, they really mean it cant you see? all the vids and interviews
oh wait i forgot they think they deserve nfl/mlb type $ in a league that isnt near their popularity or bring in the $ they do (while getting more % of rev than any other league)

So I had it right? lol.
Players are all talk when they say its all about the fans. In reality it has always been about the money and thats it. Also the players know they can be fine off even without a season this year. F'ing wieners.
