I think you're just looking for something to pick on to be honest. When I read it, I didn't think he meant that Hodgson isn't getting his full paycheck because they sent him to Rochester. He clearly said what he "would have made in Buffalo." Due to the fact that there's going to be in a lockout, Hodgson wouldn't be able to play in Buffalo, therefore meaning he doesn't get paid. That's the way I took it.

It's not as great as everyone is making it out to be. Plenty of teams sent their young guys down. If all of our guys weren't reassigned before the lockout, the Amerks would have been killed by the other "stacked" teams.

As far as Garth goes, if you're going to blog for a site that gets millions of hits, you'd better proofread the damn thing, word your article better, etc., and stop worrying about being "clever".

And by saying I'm just "looking for reasons to complain"? Looks like I found reasons, as this is par-for-the-course everytime this guy blogs about the Sabres. I want an intelligent blog, not some guy who races to finish his blog because he's worried Frieheit is going to steal his thunder. I mean, c'mon, how many times does this guy change the title of his blogs - without ever changing the content - just to get more hits? He's a joke. And I can do without the silly anecdotes from him, too. Stop trying to be clever, and just give us the damn news and opinions. I don't need to ever read the words "silky mitts" "Enzomatic" "Staff Infection", blah blah blah ever again.

Honestly, I have for the most part stopped reading this guy's blogs, because of these reasons. That's why I'm not on here very much. I'd much rather read Yost, Huddle, Meltzer, etc. But, I thought I'd give this one a chance, because I am a Sabres fan, after all. In the Immortal words of one, Richard Marx, I "Shoulda known better".

I get that everyone is in a bad mood because of the lockout, but the amount of negativity around here is starting to get ridiculous.

We should all be thankful that we have the opportunity to watch some of our players grow in the AHL this year, being that our AHL team is so close in proximity to the parent club. A lot of other markets don't have that opportunity.
