Why does that not make sense now? He had a no-trade clause. Hence why it went to an arbitrator? What is it expunged because some arbitrator had to make a ruling. It wouldnt have gone to an arbitrator in the first place if there wasn't any validity to it. You have such an interesting way of looking at things? Wierd?

Even when this thing started his agent didnt think there was a snow balls chance in hell of it being held up.. but like he said "We have to try"

Perfect example as to why Snow is a poopty GM. Ty Wishard on waivers.

The lightening were in NEED of a goaltender, and the isles had one to give. Snow had the player the lightening wanted/needed and in return got a player who since the trade has played probably half the games that Roloson has for the lightening. Brutal........

Forget about a guy who couldn't crack the line up that trade was laughed at by alot of people for being one sided. Everything i read was about Wishart being a waste of a pick by the Lightning and would never amount to anything. Stevie Y made a good trade. Especially a team that was desperate for goaltending like they were.
- Cptmjl

where did you read any of that, because he wasnt a pick of the Lightning. he was drafted by the Sharks.

I mean we are all fans but the blind following of this stupidity is maddening sometimes. It's like Snow can do no wrong in any of these guys eyes? What needs to happen before these guys say, "OK, what the (frank) is going on here". I mean really?
- Cptmjl

No one is saying it was a good trade by Snow.. or that the Lightning didnt get the better player... But when someone makes a stupid blanket statement "Perfect example as to why Snow is a poopty GM. Ty Wishard on waivers." people are going to roll their eyes & laugh at that person. We traded a guy who was an a-hole in the locker room, wanted off the Island, making comments in the news, for a prospect... what is wrong with that???? Yes sometimes prospects dont turn out the way you hope... that's why they are called "PROSPECTS"

All you do is look @ the negative on everything that happens.

It is actually entertaining...

You are pretty much a joke on here now.

Everyday is the same thing... I actually feel sorry for you!!!

It would be different if you gave praise when it was due... but all you do is cut him up.

I'm sure you would do a better job...

I call it how it is......I pay 15 grand a year for season tickets. Forgive me if I'm negative from a bushleague team.

Side note: this season is going to be delayed if played at all. With the exception of an arbitrator ruling visnovsky trade was good, what positive has taken place. What has Garth Snow done to warrant a positive post? Being that you're in Canada and don't have season tickets......let me tell you what you're not privy to. Year after year the ticket brokers call and tell you anything to renew. It always ends up being bullsh1t. From Garth snow himself he said they now have the assets to acquire players.........do you see that happening???? Let them play an actual game and then I'll comment positively if it's warranted. Until then the offseason as usual is a fail in my book.

I have to say X there are alot of "perfect examples". In fact there are too many. Lets just say there are enough to lable him a bad GM. If some care not to look at it that way thats fine but those same people look like they are sticking their heads in the sand. How anyone can't acknowledge this guys missteps is beyond me. I'll acknowledge the good he has done but the negative far outweighs the positives.

It's not the post... it's everything he talks about.

He never has anything positive to say about anything.

He might be the worst poster on Dee's blog!!!

And that is saying alot...

Cptmj, im not trying to defend Snow, bc i believe he has done a horrible job also, but hate to mention, its not all his doing.
His hands are tied by Ring Ding"Wang"
Snow wanted numerous times to bring in is buddies for the Coaching job, but its all Ding Dongs fault for that reason we dont have an NHL calibur coach.
also he has ponied-up cash for some players, but they chose not to play here.

My biggest problem with Snow is;
I believe he over-values our talent, or lack there of. plus maybe not getting creative to bring in another star player, etc.......

Come on. You know there is so much more to it than that. THAT particular trade does not make him a bad GM his entire body of work screams it. You guys can hang your hat on he drafts and doesn't trade any of his prospects but that doesn't make a good GM.

Not trying to be a douche but you contradicted yourself. It is certainly Snows fault for our coaching amongst other things. You can't pin everything on Wang.

Alot of that has to do with who is selling it to them. If he was a reputable, good GM players would listen. They don't.

WHERE in that statement does it say he is going to acquire anyone?? All he is saying is that the team is stocked enough with prospects at all positions (yes i know all wont make it & not all are even NHL talent, but we now have depth at all positions to make a trade) So if a trade comes along he can make it, or at least put together a comparable offer to what is being offered.

This again is where reading comprehension comes into play.. seek help... R.I.F.
