well living in the oakland area i can tell you exactly why
because the team's management is completely brain dead on top of that you have a park in hell hole of a city and no one will want to go the games

there has been a lot of talk about moving the A's out of oakland over the years

it needs to be done cause they'll always be a joke until they get out of there

well management puts out a joke of a product and no one wants to risk their well-being to go to oakland for a poop product

there was talk about moving the A's to San Jose and i would have gladly gone to many of their games if they moved them

the giants blocked the move since San Jose if their space

It's about bills getting constantly higher and higher. Social programs cut again and again. Minimal raises, and government thinks these part time mcjobs should be good enough for everyone.

All of that while big business and CEO's take in record profits year after year. There is no reason why Wal Mart CEO should have taken in 35 million in salary last year when one of his staff gets 10$ per hour. I will never be able to justify that. That an actor can make millions, a politician get whatever he basically wants, when your average joe plumber who works his ass off is scraping to get by.
