Exactly. Do people think Joe Thornton is a bad captain because of this?
- HopintheCordoba
Actually home slice, I stated that I wouldn't worry about Crosby v. Mario in the captain issue, as you have 2 of the best (top 10) players of all time.
I didn't even comment on Crosby's leadership and captaincy as a specific.
I think the team could use a veteran leader like Doan. I think that is missing on the team.
Unless you think your ownership is complete idiots, my guess is that they showed some interest in Doan. Who wouldn't?

If $1000 can't get you to both you're doing it wrong.

Indeed. I paid $360 for 2 tickets(endzone) to Steelers vs Chargers @ Heinz Field on December 9th, $65 for a reserved parking spot good for near 24 hours and $500 for 2 tickets(behind net) to Penguins vs Oilers @ Consol on November 10th. I used eBay and StubHub.

I paid $0 for my ticket to Dolphins/Cardinals at the end of the month. That's how I roll.
Its funny about the off topic stuff. I've only talked about the Flyers and Pens weaknesses - not about football or breaking bad.
Regardless, thanks for sharing your wisdom and knowledge and hopefully we can chat again later.
EDIT - in the future, I would prefer a bronze trophy as opposed to the bright yellow.
Cheers! - Daman
The important part of that was the intent, or more specifically "to provoke". My off topic discussions with other posters on here havent provoked anybody or caused disruption especially considering most of us are in a FFL together.

Well, good luck in your ffl. I can't be much help, as my team had lowest points last week.

Considering that some of us on here are fairly experienced and well-to-do in FFL, you may want to think about steering away from the opinionated writing on the Pens that hasn't exactly endeared you to the regulars, and focus more on asking engaging questions about how to improve in FFL. You know, catching more flies with honey than vinegar.

Sounds like you got a bad deal. I heard they are now paying fans to attend Dolphins' games.
Should be a good match-up---Tannehill v Kolb/Skelton.......(sarcasm)
BTW--who is this week's survivor pick? Im rolling with Dallas.
Dez should be like Calvin Johnson given his natural talent, I owned him for two years and always feel like you are waiting for him to break out. I think its a push either way between them.
I am on season 4 of SOA, I thought season 3 was lame but overall its a good show and better than most of what is on TV. I am looking forward to Dexter, Spartacus, and Boardwalk Empire as well. - Gunner Staal

They don't make honey in Phila though.
Vinegar, on the other hand, runs through the Schuylkill River.
Can you re-buy in your pool? I figured since this is the last week for re-buys that I was better off attempting to stash away Pats, Ravens, etc until it is do or die time.

It would appear that you are incorrect. http://phillyhoneyfest.com/
There is a Philadelphia Beekeepers guild. Unfortunately, you just missed out on attending the festival.

Guess, for the first time on this thread, I was wrong!

No we can't. You're barking up the wrong tree though, Seattle is a different team at home. Tread carefully.
Yeah, that whole storyline was lame IMO. - Gunner Staal
The story line sets up some big stuff though. Without the trip to Ireland, Jax never gets the letters which become very important to everything moving forward in season 4.

Even with a rookie qb who looked out of place in Arizona? I looked at what Dallas did to NYG and figured Dallas/Seattle was pretty heavily favored in Dallas' favor.
I'm still waiting for the first time you're funny. I've been to funerals that get more laughs. You keep on trying though, I'll give you that.
Cheers. - canadianpenfan

I'm not telling you what to do, just think that's an iffy pick in week 2. Good luck.
