Any type of aggressiveness on the PK would be a welcome change from the passive approach in the Philadelphia series. The Rangers dominated the Flyers PP all year with pressure all over the ice.

I think the Rangers left coast goalie has indecent pictures of the Flyers forwards

It is hockey. Most people see that kind of stuff and laugh. Case and point, outside of NJ do you think most people were upset or found it humorous when Avery was waving his stick in Brodeur's face as a screen? Were you up in arms when Pronger was using the same type of annoying(albeit funny) gamesmanship when he kept taking the pucks during the Chicago series?
- Rawdog9755

Prongers was after the game but I would not describe him as the classiest player ever

I think avery is a disgrace and an idiot

You should have continued with:
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

So change of topic...Would anyone want to see crosby on the PK? Id love to see him and dupuis out there killing penalties. I feel without staal we lose that faceoff advantage

It's an honor to quote one of the great ones.

Regardless - not sure how you guys couldn't be worries about team discipline after Crosby's unsportsmanlike gesture of pushing Voracek's glove with his stick.

To repeat myself (why not?), clearly the Pens are loaded with offensive talent. But a little leadership/toughness wouldn't hurt IMO.

- Daman

Honestly, anyone who brings up something as innocent as that as an example of lack of team discipline, is clearly just showing their bias against Crosby. Pushing someone's glove or stick away after a scrum is just being annoying, and trying to get under someone's skin. It is completely unrelated to discipline.

There are many, many examples of undisciplined play from the Pens in that series (Letang, Kunitz, Malkin, etc.), I wouldn't worry about #87.

You missed the point Dog. Crosby after that game (near tears) stated that he wsa frustrated. He was rattled. You can pretend all you want that it was funny, but it should have been concerning. The whole team was rattled.

Well, its over now. The action wasn't a big deal, but it was symbolic of a team that was sinking.

It seems that many of you just want to argue for the sake of it. Someone asks me the Flyers weaknesses and I give them, and they get mad b/c I disagree.

After next season, you will see I am right. Unfortunately, you won't learn anything. But that's ok.

Cheers!

Q: When you knocked Voracek's glove on the ice and hit it away was that just out of frustration?

"I don't like any guy on their team there. It was near me and he went to pick it up and I pushed it."

Q: Why don't you like them?

"I don't like them, because I don't like any guy on their team so."

Q: The fighting and such was that you trying to spark their team a little bit?

"Yea, guys are emotional and there is a lot of stuff going on out there. There is no reason to explain. I don't have to sit here and explain why I pushed a glove away they are doing a lot of things out there too. You know what, we don't like each other. Was I going to sit there and pick up his glove? What was I supposed to do?"

Q: You could skate away.

"Skate away? Oh well I didn't that time."

What a terrible leader......Give me a break. This is a non-issue. Like basically every post you make on this board Daman to stir things up. Its a non issue. Move along.

Johan Franzen throwing Patrick Kane's mouthpeice out of his mouth was the sign of a team sinking. What? The Wings won what that year?

It is one playoff series in which they were out-coached and team defense was optional on both sides. Pens just didn't have it together. At this point, I'm willing to chalk it up to a fluke. If similar problems persist this year, then changes will have to be made to coaches/defensive personnel and I'm confident in Shero's ability to adjust accordingly. Not sure why you keep hammering on the point of worry and concern---what is it exactly that you want to hear? YOU'RE(good grammar for you there) like a nagging girlfriend who finally gets a guy to say what she wants to hear just to shut her up. YES DEAR, I'D LOVE TO SPEND THE WHOLE DAY PICKING OUT TOWELS AT BED BATH AND BEYOND.

Ill do my best. Side note: Assuming Revis doesnt play, do you start Antonio Brown over Dez Bryant? It is my $ league(PPR), and I am trying to diversify away from having Romo, Murray and Bryant all starting.

EDIT:BTW, do you watch SOA? Kind of nice how Breaking Bad ends and SOA picks up a little over a week later.

Dez should be like Calvin Johnson given his natural talent, I owned him for two years and always feel like you are waiting for him to break out. I think its a push either way between them.

I am on season 4 of SOA, I thought season 3 was lame but overall its a good show and better than most of what is on TV. I am looking forward to Dexter, Spartacus, and Boardwalk Empire as well.

Exactly. Do people think Joe Thornton is a bad captain because of this?

Thanks bro.

I'll admit to contraversial, but at least honest.

Its funny about the off topic stuff. I've only talked about the Flyers and Pens weaknesses - not about football or breaking bad.

Regardless, thanks for sharing your wisdom and knowledge and hopefully we can chat again later.

EDIT - in the future, I would prefer a bronze trophy as opposed to the bright yellow.

Cheers!
