I never took his words to be a demand for a trade to begin with. He merely said he was sick of being the subject of trade rumors. It sounded more like "if you're going to trade me, please get it overwith so I can move on".

Bob Murray needs to hold his cards closer to his chest next time. I think this is mostly his fault like when he publicly announced that Ryan was off the trade market

His words might have been immature but I don't think they were stupid. The Ducks aren't a deep team and you know they aren't moving the pair of Getzlef and Perry. If I am Ryan, I am asking why I am not untouble like them. The answer is, the ducks can get the most without moving their two top stars. I would be upset too.
