No doubt about it.

But how many 5-OT playoff games did Brind'amour end?

- bradleyc4

Brindy would have ended it in 3

What do you think of Mike York?
- jak521

I try not to think about him. I guess I just hope he has enough money to keep him in burgers and fries or that he's found a job where he has free access to them.

That's an option but not one of my personal choices.

If Skip were here, he'd make a comment about not being a fan of 'handegg' . I don't hate the sport, but I personally find it dull.

I wouldn't mind hearing people's opinions on must see movies... Too early to stray that far off topic?

True, but the topic of must see movies is not even hockey related. I don't mind though since it seems we will have extra downtime this offseason

I need to find some decent horror movies that aren't slasher flicks. Slasher flicks... they turned a bad corner into snuff films.

I agree. I love a good horror film, though it seems they've either gone the direction you speak of or they've become horror comedies, which I enjoy from time to time, but it's been a while since I've seen a really good horror movie.

You ever see Let The Right One In?

As for Horror/Comedies... Zombieland was fantastic.

It'll come as no surprise that I'd recommend the original Star Wars trilogy and Star Trek II (even for non-fans). On the burner, I've got the Rocketeer and Dark City (loaned to me by a friend). I've been meaning to watch Drive, as well.

I mentioned "Fido" which would fall into the Horror/Comedy category.

Seems like the Japanese have taken over the horror trade. All we can do is copy them.

Scandinavians do it very well as well..

I think there is something even creepier about having to read subtitles as well. Keeps you from thinking a head..
