THANKS...Sounds like i need to do a major road trip!
anywhere i could get them all?

- randycane

You can here in Alberta, however thats quite a trip from NC! Netherworld would be available in Ontario, as is blanche de chambly. Quebec would give you a good shot at getting them all, however Eastern Canada seems to have somewhat of a block on Western Canadian beer and I don't know the province well enough to recommend individual stores. Check if you have some good import stores nearby that stock any of the above.

As for American beers, I highly recommend Pike brewing from Seattle, as well as Rogue from Newport, Oregon.

America has one of the best selections of micro brews I've seen outside of Prague and England. I know the stereotype is to say their beer is poop (And the commercial stuff is), but find those micro all around and oh baby. I remember going to the Brew Thru in N. Carolina. A drive through beer place with over 140 beers...I needed new pants after that.

Man I can imagine. Here we have Sherbrooke Liquor store and Keg and Cork Liquor Co which offer over 700 and over 550 beer selections respectively. We also have a new bar, MKT, which has just opened and offers retardedly large patio and over 100 beer.

Nice. I've lived my life in Ontario and Russia so I've been the victim of the LCBO (Great selection but once you've gone through them all you can't get any new stuff) and I love Baltika brewery but they're the only Russia brew I'd recommend and there isn't much else out here but the odd Ukrainian or Polish stuff.

As you may have gathered, I like beer. Lots of it. Myself and a few of my brethren (all doing chem PhDs) are debating taking our love of beer and awesomeness at science and using it to open a brewery. So far we've made 10 batches of beer and many more of wine, and all have been awesome

Don;t get me wrong, the LCBO is great, expecially with regards to price, because holy jeebus beer is expensive here in Edmonton!, but there's something to be said for being able to stumble out of your door at 1.30am and still get beer (we have 4 beer stores plus a microbrewpub within 3 blocks of our house). For all my love of Canadian beer (as well as English, given that I grew up in English brewing country), I currently have a Tiger Beer open in my hands....

I've made Mead. Probably my favourite drink. Nothing like a horn of mead as thick as goo and twice as adhesive.

One of the potential founders of Anushka's place Brewing company (our brewpub - put out an APB!) is currently doing some mead to see what it turns out like. When I find a decent source of apples, likely from BC, then I'll start with some cider. We aim to cover all bases :-)

Yeah, i'm a huge fan of the beers of the world... and you're right, i believe there's 50 microbrews. just in N.C. - probably 6-8 in the Raleigh area, and 11 or 12 out in western part of the state (Asheville area). When i was young (grew up in upstate New York) the best beer we could find was Molson/ Labatt... not all that good, but NOW...WOW, it's amazing the plethara of choices!!

he's undersized and needs work when it comes to the defensive part of the game. He is pretty good at putting up points though.

Remember when the world was in love with the 20 goal massive hitting 60 point Dion? That's about what Dumba can be but with better speed, a less erratic shot and less size.

why is Rielly's potential only 2-3 D-man?? Karlsson won the Norris, is he a 2-3 guy? I think not. As for the beer thing.. Id like to see a list of the most popular beer for each province..
- Arctic_AARDVARK

I think he's comparing the style of play, rather than the actual potential of the player when he compares them to other players.

At least the Div 2 NCAA quarterback can finish a game without breaking a rib or something.

i played in the dub last year, Ratties numbers are inflated big time. Not saying hes not a good player, but there is quite a difference between him and bartschi. I didnt mind being on a one on one with rattie, but sven makes everyone look stupid.
